Great product - Yes, read the previously used description
Ok, here's the thing. I ordered 2 of these duffle bags. One of the them seemed new and smelled good and the other one had an odor to it. I threw the smelly one in a regular size washer and washed with hot water, a cup of vinegar and a cup of baking soda. After washing there is no odor. There was some frayed threads inside the bag that I cut out with scissors. I turned the bag inside out and put all the metal buckles inside it before putting it in the dryer. There was some sand in the bottom of the bag that came out when drying. If you are expecting a brand new bag and don't want to wash and dry it, then don't order this bag. Washing and drying the bag was no big deal and the bag was fine afterwards. These bags are heavy duty material that should withstand abuse at airports or at campgrounds. I bought these to bags to carry a huge backpack with hiking sticks and they fit perfectly. There is no drawstring but you can buy a cord rope at an outdoor store. This bag is wonderful for the money.

Best bag you could ever buy
I have had several of these military duffle bags over the years. They are amazing if you are moving, or needing to bring a significant amount of things and wanna keep them in a manageable bag. I can put literally almost my entire wardrobe in one of these bags if you burrito role the shirts and pants. They are built to hand over a 100lbs so they're rugged and cheap. The only down side to them are the natural smell they all have, some spray cleaner and a sponge will help that out. Just buy one lol

SMELLS LIKE VOMIT
Short Story - I've never smelt anything this horrible in my entire life. I washed it three times with a power washer and it still smells like someone fermented vomit in it. Long Story - I am currently deployed in Afghanistan and I am about to head home. I decided that I should get another duffle bag so I can get all my stuff home. After looking around, I found a bag here (in Afghanistan at the PX) for $40 and I found this bag on Amazon for $20. I decided to have my wife send it to me along with a few other things. After opening the package with the duffle inside of it, I was immediately hit with the putrid stench of this bag. Due to my situation and limited options, I decided to take it to the "wash rack" and power wash it. I ended up washing it for 30 minutes and driving around with it in the back of my truck for 2 days. I repeated this process 2 more times until I finally gave up on the bag. In the end, this bag was cheap but it was in no way worth it. I've smelt many horrible things in my life and nothing even compares. If you don't mind the smell of 10 year old vomit and rancid milk then this bag wouldn't be a bad choice. The only good thing about this bag is it's story. I ended up burning the bag and spending $80 on shipping my stuff home.

Stout and rugged, but condition may vary
This is the second one of these I've purchased. Here are the pros and cons: Pro: Like all the USGI bags of this type, it is rugged, and you will probably wear out before it does. This one was purchased to help me haul all of the tree stand seats, lifelines, cameras, and other paraphernalia I've got installed on my hunting property now that the season is over. It will admirably fill that role. Cons: When it arrived, it became obvious that, as other reviews have noted, supplier you purchase from matters. This one had several rips that had been neatly patched with fabric of the same type and color as the bag. Nice job on that, but I would have rather that fact had been clearly stated. The bottom also had remnants of cream colored paint, which I expected but wish wasn't present. But what definitely is a problem is that it smelled AWFUL, like someone had vacuum sealed their dirty underwear in it and left it for several days. So, the first thing I did was put it in my washing machine with some scent killing detergent. I have high hopes that will fix that issue. We will see. But caveat emptor on that. Final analysis: At less than 1/2 the price of a new one and for my intended use, it's worth buying. But probably better have some scent killer detergent on hand (like Dead Downwind or similar), just in case. UPDATE 1/6/24. Smell remains a persistent issue. Scent killer hasn't eliminated it entirely, but it has improved. Going to try a good spray down with scent killer next.

A used duffle bag is worth the frugal price
It's a used item as advertised. It great for us frugal buyers who don't have to have new. We are looking for it to carry stuff.

Nice large size but not heavy. Well built
Finally a real duffle bag for laundry. Really nice. Couldn’t be happier and it’s not too heavy

Buen producto

Better than the Canadian Issued bag
Smells like military surplus so if you don't like that smell just wash it a few times and use whatever fancy smell you like. I bought one while on a deployment when I stayed on a American base. I love that you can pad lock it closed if you want and the shoulder straps are a life saver if you have a good distance to walk. I put my Canadian Issued cart bag away and just use this one. It does have a drawback or two, if you don't pack it right you will get poked in the back. It is not a backpack it has backpack features. Finally again depending on how you load it, it can shift side to side as you walk. But other than that it works great and holds up very well.

Buena capacidad, mal olor.

What appears as almost new used bag of sturdy fabrication.
