Yes, they are stubbies. Which makes sense in a small clearance specific tool. It's typical Klein, extremely well made. CAUTION: Don't be put off when you first receive it. The bits loosen up in time, but are difficult to switch out, and you'll need pliers at first. Now it's perfect. Hope this helps.

It is reversible. It is really well made. I find that using small tools like this in a confined space is maddening if you ever drop it. The nice big finger hole on the end means that you have a secure grip at all times. I think that is one of the best tools that I have found... And, I do like Klein tools in general.

Yes, anything witn a 1/4 hex shank will fit, however you must be aware that the leverage this tool provides is limited, its not a breaker bar, it is a light duty bit ratchet.
