That's correct, they are made in Canada.

Q: Does this include the VRS dust collection assembly?

Yes mine did. I’ve had this for a few years so this my have changed since I bought mine, but I don’t think so. Virtually positive that it still comes with the dust collection assembly.

Q: is this capable of doing sliding dovetail joints ? if so are there any additional addons that I need to purchase to do them ?

Yes you can do sliding dovetails, i've made a few for a little drawer box, but then i found out its easier in the router table, so i use the leigh now only for dovetailed boxes o finger joints where is super accurate and easy once you get used to it
