These Clorts Hiking Shoes run a bit small according to other reviews so I sized up a half size I generally like to order a 6.5 wide shoe but ordered a size 7. The fit is good and comfortable to walk in. Because it is a hiking shoe the toe box is hard to protect your toes, not 'mesh like' as is the case with athletic/running shoes. Therefore, it may seem a little snug but after walking in them for a couple weeks, I've gotten used to the fit and the traction is very good. They are wide enough for my foot and fit like a 6.5 shoe even with thicker socks. They have good arch support which I need since I had planter fasciitis and there is enough room in the shoe if I need to wear my arch support band for extra support. I haven't put it through a long hike as yet (hence only 4 stars) but am pretty confident it will work well.

Nice looking shoes but I am returning them because of the sizing issue. I sized up a half size after reading the reviews but it wasn't enough. I needed a full size up at least (or even 1.5 sizes up) so they wouldn't hurt my toes. Too bad.
