I was delighted to open the parcel this morning. The urn is absolutely beautiful, and comes in a lovely black velvet box. Although I had the measurements and details, it is very heavy and a lot larger than I had expected. A perfect final resting place for my beloved pets. Well worth the investment. Thank you.Having since read the lower ratings and comments on here, I can confirm that the velvet box does smell very bad. Like a warehouse, mouldy smell.I also haven't transferred loose ashes into it yet, but the screw in base is a little rough. I don't know how watertight it would be.It is still 5 stars from me, because it suits my personal needs, perfectly, and it is a beautiful piece. *****

This urn is just fantastic. It holds a massive amount of ashes, it's very heavy and very well made. The latch is perfectly secure and it has plastic studs on the bottom as not to damaged any surface it's left on. I am very very pleased with my purchase. I bought 3 and they were all up to the same standard.

Bought this for my dad's ashes, what a beautiful item, it's heavy and large size but also so beautiful in design. Even the funeral director thought it was very beautiful. It takes pride of place in my home, would highly recommend

I bought 5 of these for my Dad's remains, to give to family members and for myself. Each of the satin lined presentation boxes were damaged, mouldy and smelled so horribly of mildew that I have had to dispose of them. Having my Dad home for Christmas was very important to me and my family and although the urns themselves are lovely and in good condition, the experience has been incredibly upsetting. To sell such a sensitive item in such disgusting condition is shameful and I hope to hear from the seller with an apology.
