Looks weird but it's actually fantastic
So this soap looks a little weird (like it is dirty or something) but it is actually FANTASTIC quality. It is made with 100% olive oil so it performs better than any palm oil soap, including the ones that say they are "enriched with olive oil" (i.e. they put 5% olive oil in it).The size of the bar is just about right, the price is totally fair, and the performance is exactly what you'd expect from a high quality olive oil soap. I've been evaluating a lot of different soap brands on Amazon recently and this is one of the best you can get and it is very fairly priced. The only soap I think may be better is Aleppo but that costs more and has an annoyingly large bar size.Do not be intimidated by how foreign looking this soap is. I guarantee you it performs better than any western brand of soap. This is what soap is SUPPOSED to be like and Unilever has been selling us trash for decades. Give it a try.

Gentle, long lasting, and no soap scum
I love this soap. It’s gentle on my sensitive skin, lasts a long time, and one of my favorite unexpected benefits is that it’s the only bar soap I’ve used that doesn’t disintegrate quickly or leave soap scum all over my shower. I also really appreciate being able to support a small business and a traditional craft. I’ll definitely keep buying it.

Great as a shampoo
I like that this is a traditional soap. The bars last a long time. The biggest thing I noticed was when I started shampooing my hair with it. I thought I would give it a go. It doesn't lather much in the hair which is probably a good thing. I don't know why, probably lack of chemicals, but my post menopausal hair hasn't looked or behaved this good in years. I will be ordering again.

real soap. natural. no additional scent. cleans very good. last long. it doesn’t look fancy, looks exactly as it should be. and same as in the photos. i wish it was cheaper however the price is right when you compare to popular brand ones.
