I was really hesitant to buy a mattress off of Amazon, but was pleasantly surprised and am very happy with my purchase. I'll try to add all of the details that feel important so that you can feel better when considering getting one yourself:The mattress came vacuum sealed within an inch of its life. I wasn't sure if I was going to have to navigate it into my room at full size, so this was nice actually but it did mean letting it inflate for 24hrs before getting to lay on it (which was a bummer because I live somewhere remote and had been sleeping on an air mattress while waiting for it to arrive). The first picture I included it of the mattress on the bed frame about ten minutes after unpacking it, so it inflated a lot right away (I recommend rolling it out onto the frame to settle like I did) but only to about half its size then took the rest of the time to expand. However, it did get delivered a day earlier than Amazon predicted which was nice.Once 24hrs had passed, it still looked very thin which worried me (I got the 10in) but after sleeping on it the first night I was so well rested I felt like a new person and so much of my pain from the old mattress I had been using simply ceased to exist instantaneously. I am a curvy woman and this mattress is both soft enough to accommodate my curves and sturdy enough to support me without a box spring.More on not having a box spring: I was really skeptical about not needing one, especially since the frame I got only has slats underneath but the mattress has not sunk through at all and I cannot feel them while laying down at all. I imagine it only gets more comfortable the more thickness you decide to purchase.Don't hesitate, get yours today.

THIS.... Is IYEE NATURE's 12-inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress.... and right off the bat I want to say that this bed is more on the firm side. When buying a mattress in a box, from any random brand, it can be hard! Especially when spending large amounts of money. I am here to say that the 12" option is legit!This mattress is from a box, meaning it is vacuum sealed down and expands when you open it (mine opened in just a few hours and I slept on it the same night. The bed had the typical off smell once it opened, but faded away in just a couple of days.The mattress is more on the firm side, however, the first couple of inches are made of a squishy memory foam that kept me cool all night (and I am a hot sleeper)! Past that, it was more on the firm side so I was able to sink down and still have support in any direction I turn. The bed also is great for that time of night with a friend and had zero issues, and the firmness kept me from sliding as well!The best part about this mattress is that you can get it smaller or thicker depending on how much foam and memory foam you think you might want, I got this for my guest bedroom but am really thinking about replacing my actual mattress with this same one as I enjoy it so much! I think that you can certainly find better mattresses than this one but at a significantly higher price. This is not my first box mattress in this price range so I have been around the block and the only mattress I like more is my several thousand-dollar purple mattress.I highly recommend this mattress for anyone needing something in this price range and honestly below $1000 as this is THAT good. It keeps you cool, comfortable and supported and I think that you will enjoy it just as much as I did. If not, amazon is great with returns so just hit them up if it isn't for you!

So far, it seems a but soft. When you first climb on, it feels firm, but it settles deeper than anticipated. I've seen reviews that state it firms more over time and it's only been a few days, so holding judgement til then. Overall, it is a very very nice mattress and a fantastic value, if it firms even a little it'll be 5 stars easily.I didn't think it would hit the 12 inches initially, but it did after 2 days standing up and then laying it down for the last bit of evening out.If it stays like this a topper is definitely not needed, and even at this firmness it way beats the hybrid beautyrest I paid 3k fir a few years back!!! (Which suffered layer slippage within 3 years.)Well worth the money.Definitely recommend for anyone transitioning to memory foam wanting a bit of that plush feel with good under support.UPDATE: determined it was definitely a bit soft for me. However, if you like a plush mattress don't let thar stop you! It sinks about 3 inches and huts that support layer, so its like having a plush topper on a firm mattress. The plush layer was just too deep for my old hips!

The media could not be loaded. Soooo I meant to do a video of the unboxing but I was so excited that I forgot. This mattress is amazing. I have had it out of the box for less than an hour and it’s almost fully inflated. After reading the reviews I noticed that many complained that the mattress did not inflate to full size specifically around the corners. The mattress comes in a cool mattress cover and it’s important to unzip the cover to allow for complete recovery to full size. Because the mattress is foam, any sort of hindrance will prevent it from recovering to its full size and this includes the mattress cover. Luckily the cover unzipped completely so you can pull the zippers around on all sides and pull the cover down and fluff the Mattress up with your hands on the corners to ensure that the corners also become full size. There was a nice letter inside from the creator of the mattress, stating that he grew up in poverty and his parents didn’t have much to give him with the exception of integrity. It was important to me because he went to school and used his education to make affordable mattress for working people. With that kind of backstory I’ll be inclined to buy anything from this company. I give the mattress five out of five stars and I haven’t even slept on it yet. It’s soft to the touch and is true memory foam. I’ll follow up with another review after I place the mattress on the new bed frame that is on order from Amazon. The mattress I purchased is king size 12 inches.
