Hush Puppies Women's Power Walker

I ordered these for my 88 year old aunt who wears an 11ww shoes. It is very difficult to find them in stores if not impossible. Therefore we have to resort to to online buying and then trying them on at home. Bingo these shoes are a winner they tick off all the boxes. They are wide enough, easy to put on and very supportive. She said she would rate them a 12 if they came in red or purple.

I live in a small town, with limited shopping. I had purchased these shoes, while visiting my Daughter in Indianapolis, In. several years back. I found them to be the best fitting, most comfortable, long lasting shoe in quite some time. After she moved from there, we no longer drove there. So, I began my search, with no luck. My other daughter had ordered from Amazon, quite a few times, and was happy with the service.So, I decided to try at Amazon, and right away, I was happy to see I could get them. A very reasonable price, for the best casual walking shoe, that can be worn on most any occasion. Your feet will love them,too. Fast service was a plus, also.

These shoes are very roomy, especially great for wide feet. I ordered 7 1/2 wide (C/D) in white for going on walks and doing errands. They don't squeeze or pinch my toes or the area just below my toes, which is often a problem for me with shoes. I tried them on with thin socks, but I'm sure that they could work with thick socks, too. The simple style looks so much better to me than those bulky athletic shoes that just have too much going on in the design. From the reviews that I read, I expected more padding throughout the footbed; however, there is good arch support. I probably won't need to put in my firm orthopedic type insoles. There is a lot of cushioning in the heel area. When I put my weight on just the heel part, I could feel that. I can see why this style has been around for at least 20 years and why so many reviewers said that they have bought many pairs of these.

Hush Puppies are hard to love when you have a closet full of $250 Ferragamos and Bruno Maglis from another time - Now, those are shoes to love! Five stars here would have been easy if you hadn't used "love" as the adjective! I wish all "walkers" did not have that funny, curvy heel thing that comes up too high on your real heel - but that is apparently my foot and not the shoe. I figure if I am too lazy to try on every shoe in Nordstom looking for my Cinderella fit, these are good enough for me. It is a sad fact of life, that as one grows older, the so-called "fat pad" on the bottom of the foot just evaporates. My suspicion is it migrates north and finds a new home on your hips. Which could account for the heel thing feeling like a high top shoe in the back...But this is my second pair of this brand and style, which ought to say something. I have gone through life with cork inserts put under the insole and some kind of stick-on thing to make the heel narrow enough not to slip. The trick at this stage is buy thicker socks. BUt you asked about shoes - not feet. The shoes are well made and have soles that provide good cushioning for walking. I wish it came in navy. I never have trouble with sizing. Online you can get accurate sizing charts for men, women and children. Print it out - I taped mine in a shoe box top .The chart gives American size and European - It is easy to get your true size, rather than the " I have always worn a size 6-1/2 " fantasy. I made a "guy" one and sent to my skeptical brother who told me he had worn a size 8 for 20 years in the Army. HIs foot measure 8.5. Measures - not estimates. I ordered him some Rockports from Amazon - perfect fit. Over years, the metatarsal elongates like a mudslide. He is 84. I am 86.

My feet are a mess with bunions, hammertoes, and more. Also, have chronic back issues and permanent areas of numbness in feet. It is extremely difficult for me to find shoes that are comfortable and accommodate the "feet and back" issues. The shoes arrived, I put them on immediately. I did not experience any breaking in time. I find these shoes extremely comfortable in terms of softness, fit, support, and the" levelness" of the sole and heel height which is problematic for me in other shoes with the back issues in particular. These are by far the best shoes I have purchased in many years. If you can relate to any of my feet and back issues, I'd say, take a chance and try these shoes. I am extremely satisfied and quite amazed at the positive difference. I will be purchasing additional pairs.

The width sizing of these was wrong. Have two other pair and they fit well.

shoe soles are coming apart , large cracks in soles and are pulling apart from the shoe, i woudl like to return these two pares of shoes, they are junk!
