Unreliable operations
It screws into the stand but the frame isn’t level so it sits diagonally (crooked). The remote only works from maximum of 1 foot and it has to be at an angle or it doesn’t work. Horrible for racing because it won’t start/stop when you push the button

Easy setup, bright display
Easy setup, bright display, and conveniently portable. Received 4 stars due to the wind, a light breeze, can easily knock it down when raised. Must anchor down with weights on tripod.

Cheap Piece of Junk
OMG....where to start. First of all, the tripod doesn't work with the timer. There's no way to secure it to the tripod. Secondly, I misplaced the remote control and needed to purchase another. I have gone back and forth with this seller (Chinese) and they simply CAN NOT understand that I "lost" the remote and I need to buy another to replace it. They keep telling me that I bought a remote. Good God! I won't ever buy a product from China again. Customer service is horrible because they don't have enough command of the English language.

Design flaw " remote only control"
The remote only access to the timer is a major flaw in the design, what if you loose or break the remote? Also the remote has a mind of it's own half the time.

Good value. Serves our purposes well. Remote control interface is not intuitive, though.
I'm the race director for 3 small, local running races and I needed a clock for such occasional use. This one definitely serves the purpose and was at a price that we could handle. The numbers are quite bright, as you can see in the photo. The stand is lightweight, but that could be a problem in a windy situation, so you want to keep that in mind. There is no on-board controls, so everything is done with the remote. Don't lose the remote!!! I didn't find the remote control interface particularly intuitive, but if you futz around with it enough, you can figure out how it all works -- or worst case, RTFM (Read The Manual). You need to have a power source for the 12v. DC adapter. It would be nice if they offered a battery pack option -- or at least recommended a battery device that will definitely work that is also available on Amazon. All in all, though, if I had to do it again, I would still buy this one.

Decent Timer
Some of the timer functions don’t work. Like the 10 second countdown.
