Is the lid sturdy enough for a small cat to jump up on? I want this box in front of my window and put my cat's fluffy bed on top. Would it collapse?

It definitely can support a kitty, my yorkie is about 12 lbs and my chihuahua is about 13 lbs. . I do have his stairs so he goes up and down. He has hop up and down to look out the window. But for my doggie is safer with his stairs. It's a sturdy box and lid. Just fill it with books or something to keep it from moving. Hope this helps.
