Alvada Warm Thermal Wool Socks for Winter Moisture Wicking and Breathable Cozy Boot Socks

I bought these for my husband who is 6’4” and has bad circulation to his feet. So, they’re often cold especially at night. He wears these to bed and his feet stay warm all night. I was happy to find these because the ones he had been using for the past couple years were discontinued and couldn’t find them anywhere. I ordered a few different brands of wool socks and these surpassed the others in quality, softness, and fit. They also stay up, they don’t stretch out and fall down while wearing.

I am a fan of wool blend socks since my feet get cold in the winter. I needed some dark blue socks and ordered these because of the many positive reviews. When I got them, I opened the package to find the socks were 3" longer than my foot. Since there was no size on the package, I returned them thinking I was sent the wrong size. Since I liked the socks, I reordered them in my size. Again, they were 3" longer than my foot, but this time, I read the instructions to put them in the dryer on a low temperature for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes in the dryer, they were my size. I love the dark blue color which is exactly what I wanted. They are very soft and warm without causing sweating. The judgement of thickness can vary with experience. I have wool socks that are much thicker, but don't provide the comfort and warmth that these socks do. Since I wash all of my clothes in warm water using Woolite detergents and dry on a permanent press setting, I haven't experienced any shrinkage. I feel these socks are made well and will last a long time with proper care. Considering the quality of these socks, I feel they are a great value for the money and would recommend them. I just go em. Can’t speak for longevity, but it’s warm. And more importantly they’re the right thickness so they fit in my boots that expanded after wear. Pain in the ass to find socks for them and these were the right thickness to accommodate their stretch. I love I got these for 15.

These are super warm socks & did the trick for our trip to Grand Tetons/Yellowstone! They seem quite thick, cozy & warm, and able to withstand hikes and long days. The one gripe we had with these is that we weren’t aware if they were meant to be compression socks or not. They were a bit snug, which is okay for warmth, but still tight like compression socks rather than looser fitting.

These are very good. Much warmer than they look, and super soft and cushioned. They are thick enough to be warm, but not so thick that they don’t fit inside your boots. I got them for my husband who does construction outdoors all winter in steel toe boots, and I credit them with keeping him from getting frostbite. Also a good value for the money.

I’m still going to give full stars despite one complaint I have. They’re comfortable, fit very well, and they definitely do a great job at staying warm. I had snow fill my boot and I didn’t feel it with these socks on. My complaint however isn’t a huge deal but should be considered, they only come with 3 pairs, I work outside a lot and with the crazy amount of snow we got I need to stay warm… well after just 3 days I’m out of socks. I come home very late, it’s really difficult to stay on top of laundry sometimes. I had to buy this product twice to have 6 pairs instead.

I really wasn't expecting much, but I love these socks. They fit well, and kept my feet warm. As much as I have worn them, they still look new. I appreciated the way they were packaged, was able to just wrap the blue ones for a gift.
