I have a piano with square pegs about 5mm to 5.5mm per side. Would the star tip fit?

Not sure what everyone else is seeing. The pegs on my piano are 5mm and this star tip doesn't grip them at all. Slips right around the pegs and doesn't turn them.

Loose end. when i try to tune the string down, the end just unscrews from the handle. has anyone else had this issue? thanks.

The metal part came loose from the wood on mine, but I was able to reglue it and it works well. If I remember correctly, I used an apoxy.

I got this thinking it could work on a hammered dulcimer but the head is too big for the dulcimer tuning bolts - can this be modified?

no dulsimers keys are smaller, buy a smaller key, but it will fit a autoharp.
