Plain Rawhide Chews for Small Breed Dogs, Natural Dog Treats Made in USA Only by Green Valley Treats, 25 Chews

Often it is hard to gauge scale of an item from a description or photo. My first priority in choosing these rawhide chews were that they are sourced and made in the USA. They are - this is a very important health and wellness choice in quality rawhide chews. The second priority was that they be small dog sized, but not so skinny they are no challenge for my little guy.These chews are made of nice thick white rawhide, and are tightly rolled into close to 1/2" diameter. I have a 12-lb terrier type who likes his chewies. In the time he has been chewing on his first chew, it has not gotten slobbery and wet. More importantly, chunks haven't been chewed off that could get caught in his throat. (For that reason, any chew should be a supervised treat.)He is challenged by the treat. I put his doggie toothpaste into the ends and around the top - he enjoys that and works harder on the chew. This one chew may last forever.

Received our first order of Green Valley Treats yesterday. Harpo loves them, and he is very picky about his chew bones (I have a cabinet full of rejected bones from various companies to substantiate this). I'm picky, too. You have to be careful with rawhide bones, what's in them and where they come from. These are made of high-quality ingredients and manufactured in the good old USA. Highly recommended.

My dogs love rawhides and make short work of them. That’s why I only gave this 3 stars. I heard that some dogs don’t digest rawhide chews completely so that’s why I get the smaller ones. I was also looking for products made in the USA instead of China, which these are. I would purchase them again.

My 5 small dogs go crazy for all the Green Valley rawhide. It is expensive, but worth it! High quality products, made in the USA & excellent customer service, it is only brand of rawhide I will buy for my dogs.

I have big dogs and these are still a huge hit! I am very particular what I give my dog's, one has the most sensitive stomach and these are great! USA hide and packaged, is hard to find! One of my dogs is 105 lbs and the other is 65, they get bored with the ones their size but these they go nuts for! I had an issue with an order and they went above and beyond my expectations and even wrote a handwritten letter! Need more soon!

Made without all the chemicals. Beware of USA labels that are USA skins shipped to and tanned in other countries. Most will make your dog sick due to the tanning process chemicals. These did not make our dog sick. A bit more expensive though.

Shipping took over 2 weeks and I had to pay extra - No Prime. These chews are really small. Yes, they are 5" long but they are barely 1/4" thick. For the money ($40+ w/ shipping), these are really expensive. These are true "treats" as your dog will probably be able to eat them fairly quickly and not get to really chew on them.
