I don usually leave reviews but had to leave one for the Neutra figs.I like them because they taste good and are fresh.I am on a low carb diet but I like to eat figs , I like that they are smallI, I eat two every morning it does not interfere with my diet.Are they expensive ? Yes they are but after trying different brands and less expensive ones I went back to these. They are worth the price to me.

These figs are absolutely horrible. Please don't buy these figs you're wasting your money. They are dry and sour and just horrible. I took a chance and ordered this but I realized I just wasted $17. I've been eating figs for over 50 years, I know what I'm talking about. They also look nothing like the photo that the seller is posting.

Tiniest figs I’ve yet seen. Not bad tasting. though…

My local grocery does not stock figs so I need to order online. All was good with this brand that I had ordered twice before, but my last batch arrived over-dried to a woody appearance, even though the expiration date was a year in the future. I ended up cutting them into smaller chunks and stewing in simmering water in a saucepan (also threw in some raisins). They cooked to a soft chunky paste and plumped up back to a fresh state. I am eating these by heating up for a minute and a half in the microwave and topping with yogurt. Sometimes I mix some into oatmeal. Is very tasty.

Incredibly disappointing, all the figs are black, not golden both inside and out. Taste is not great, many figs with lots of black mealy insides I suspect is from insect larvae previously in the fruit.I bought these for holiday fig cookies, they are not of suitable quality to use for that purpose. Black inside and out, mealy bland taste, that is not chewy like a dried fig should be. These make for marginal dried fruit snacking if you test each fig open to make sure the inside is not compromised by previous insect damage. The black mealy insides with reduced fig seed content really sticks to your fingers, and does not taste great either.In short I cannot recommend these dried figs to others, but I can recommend buying imported Smyrna figs on Amazon, the ones I have bought are grown in Turkey and are very good quality, golden. The Smyrna fig have a nice chewy fig center that in appearance and taste is similar to a favorite fig bar cookies.This brand of golden figs is really disappointing. The photos used on the packaging and Amazon descriptions is nothing short of false advertising; look at my photos of the ‘golden’ dried figs received in the package versus the packaging photos. Then look at the photo representative of the figs insides I received in 4 bags. You can see the seeds and fruit on the inside of the fig, and insect damage that mealy black without fig seeds. Not appetizing at all.I had previously ordered reasonable quality black mission figs from the seller/grower, but I cannot recommend these golden figs.
