Milwaukee ELEC Tool 48-22-3986 Bold Line Chalk Reel

Llegó perfecto y dentro del plazo previsto. El pack incluye el tiralíneas y un bote de polvo rojo de 85g (3 oz).. Me tocó comprarlo porque una empresa me hizo una auténtica chapuza en casa y ahora me estoy reformando yo mismo el piso, lo que incluye quitar el terrazo antiguo y volver a nivelar todo el suelo desde cero. Como no soy profesional pero me paso el día metido en esta reforma, agradezco muchísimo su ergonomía. Se adapta de lujo a la mano y el peso está muy bien equilibrado; es sólido pero no cansa nada usarlo durante horas. Para no fallar en las tiradas largas del suelo buscando los niveles, necesitaba un trazo grueso. En la tercera foto podéis ver la cuerda del Milwaukee totalmente limpia (sin tiza) justo al lado de la de mi antiguo Rubi Master N. La diferencia de grosor es tremenda a favor de Milwaukee. El hilo Bold es súper robusto y el sistema de recogida rápida te ahorra un montón de tiempo y esfuerzo. Una herramienta de diez que me está facilitando mucho la vida en esta reparación.

At the end of the day, it’s a chalk line—but this is a good one. It produces solid, highly visible lines, even on slightly dirty surfaces. You can get multiple lines out of it without needing to reel back in, which is handy when marking out larger areas. The rewind mechanism is smooth and works flawlessly, making it quick and easy to use on the job. One thing to be careful of is the red chalk—it’s labelled semi-permanent for a reason. It stains easily and doesn’t wash out well. I’ve still got marks on my work jumper, and if you’re using it overhead, expect it to get everywhere (including your hair). Also worth noting, the chalk loads heavily onto the string. The first line you snap can be quite thick with a bit of excess chalk either side. Not a huge issue, but something to be aware of if you need a really fine line. Overall, a solid chalk line that performs well, just be mindful of the chalk you’re using.

Absolutely worthless. Broke on the first use. Love Milwaukee power tools but don’t fall under the assumption that anything with their brand name is gonna be the same quality and held to the same standards. On first use, the string came out half a meter and after that wouldn’t come out any more or reel back in. Waste of money.

Great Qaulity

Good so far, I only use a chalk line every so often, so for someone who uses it every day might want to get a more expensive one that can handle that. But the average joe shouldn’t have a problem with it. I wish the powder bottle they give you had a cap for it. Also watched a vid on how to properly set one up and was didn’t know I wasn’t doing some steps to first set one up.
