Super jacket, warm, comfortable and looks great

I bought this jacket to wear to work instead of freezing my !! off. I just can't bring myself to wear it to work as it's so nice. Can anyone recommend a good work jacket alternative? It's warm and comfortable but I would order a size down unless you plan on wearing five layers under it.

Nice jacket but very large sizes. I take an XL in just about every brand I buy, but an XL Carhartt hangs off me. Returned unfortunately.

Perfect fit (size L tall). I've struggled with this brand of coat so I hope this review helps others. I'm 6ft5, 215lbs and ectomorph body shape. Basically I'm muscular with a narrow frame and a slim waist. I hate getting XL because they are short in the arms and too baggy in the body. Size L tall is longer enough in the arms and body, covering your belt. Also loose in the body, leaving enough space for a jumper and still not tight.

I had been looking locally for a Carhartt jacket with little success. I had tried on some 2XL jackets but felt that the fit was a bit snug for my body... I do not like snug jackets or shirts. Also on he standard 2XL size the sleeves were too short. I am 6 ft 1 inch tall and about 290 lbs. I finally ordered this one 3XL Tall. So far it is great. Not snug and I could add a fleece under the jacket if needed. The tall sizing adds some extra body length which is much appreciated. Sleeves are great length as well and have insulated cuffs. I like the integrated hood with enough room for a winter hat. Lower front pockets are largish and deep so should not lose gloves. There is a zippered chest pocket that does hold my phone but my phone is a bit too tall to zip it closed. Inside the jacket there is a side facing zippered pocket that would hold a wallet/keys and another top facing velcro pocket that can hold a phone. The jacket does NOT have a lower drawstring to limit drafts. Overall the build seems excellent and materials seem to be great quality. I have not worn it in sub freezing weather yet but I except it to perform well. I am looking forward to years of use.

Capo bellissimo, qualità Carhartt, molto caldo e perfetto come antivento. Tasche comode (il taschino esterno, per chi lavora fuori, è comodissimo per non stare ad aprire sempre la giacca), rifiniture nella media (qualche cucitura un po’ grossolana). Segnalo che la taglia, per via dell’imbottitura, è un po’ meno generosa degli standard Carhartt.

Viene la talla exacta sólo que no la devolví porque me rebajaba los gastos de impuestos de usa a México para estaba defectuoso porque siempre uso talla s y me queda muy bien ocho chamarras carharrt s

Väldigt bra jacka till bra pris, tåligt tyg med många bra fickor. + för stor mysig luva och sherpa lining i hela jackan :) Tyvärr så sticker några trådar ut som behöver klippas sen är den tillverkad i Indien så - där.

Son loved it. Fit is great quality is fab son is 6’4”.
