Is the bristles really soft? For example, when you use a soft bristle brush but it's for your edges

No, to me they are not. But the bristles fall out very easily so I would just go with a soft bristle toothbrush instead. Not worth it to me.

How do I clean this brush?

It didn't come with instructions on how to clean it or I may have missed it, but I wash mine with a mild dish soap. Hope it helps.
