When you have a bunch of large cables to run through a hole in the deck, this vent cover tidies things up. When I added a Livescope to the bow of my boat, I had to drill a lager hole to route the cables through the deck. These vent covers, along with some spray foam did the trick nicely. If my boat were newer, I may have opted for some shiny ones, but on my old boat, functional works.
