COOL KNIGHT Electric Herb Grinder [Large Capacity/High Rotating Speed]-Electric Grinder for Spices and Herbs (Wood grain 2)

Light weight, easy to clean and use. I like to buy bulk spices from Natural Grocery store. They normally come in whole leaf, so this guy comes in handy to grind fresh blends or even powder herbs you don't want whole. My husband's favorite is we can't always find ground Mrs. Dash. So we do it ourselves for eggs. It's even finer than the name brand which is better for sunny side up eggs. I don't know how I made it in the kitchen before this guy. Grinds quickly and well. Love it. Also, it all stores in the grinder so it fits nicely on the counter.

5 stars because it looks good and functions well, I’ve had no issues with it. It does a great job of grinding but might be too good if you’re grinding it for smokable herb. When grinding too long, the consistency is almost powder like and can lead to poor airflow and an uneven burn. Still, I prefer using it over hand tools sometimes, I’m just trying to learn the sweet spot when getting my preferred coarseness. My tip is to prep the herb a little so that it can grind as evenly as possible as sometimes bigger harder clumps take longer to break down and lead to over-grinding. The brush comes in handy too.

I can’t expect too much, because it is cheap. For small things it works good, but it is not for bigger ones.

This is a great grinder. I was able to grind down tough root herbs. Takes a bit of aligning them properly as to avoid them getting stuck under the blade but once you get it, its effortless. Grounds most to nearly powder perhaps leaving a few very small chunks but in my case its smaller and more workable than its original form. Doesnt need much to grind them properly tho each herb is different so I'd recommend adding and adjusting as you go to get your desired result. I'm impressed as its exactly what I needed and did s much better job than expected. Grinds quickly, is a bit noisy depending on the hardiness of the herb/root but totally worth it. I love that it has an inner lid to assist with spillage and is small enough for portability and storage. Its also very easy to clean after each use. I highly recommend this small yet powerful grinder for all your grinding needs. So far I've only tried dried herbs and roots but once I get a chance to grind something wet and hardy like fresh ginger, I'll come back and update.

Very happy with this grinder. I use it for herbs. Works better than one that I had purchased and spent twice the amount on for the same purpose. Plus it looks nice :).

A few items that were disappointing that could be my fault and one that makes it un-usable for me longer term. I wasn't expecting it to be this big (my fault, see the pic) and it to be plastic (I thought it would be actually wood - again, blame that on me). The inner lid can be easy to forget to put on and, if you do forget to put it on, the ground seeds fall out everywhere including down the sides between the lower unit and the un-attachable top unit. So, they're stuck down there somewhere forever. But the thing that really surprised me is that you cannot clean the grinding container. It cannot be detached from the lower motor unit so you cannot use water at all to clean it. The instructions say to wipe clean with a cloth. Well, that is (1) tricky with the sharp blade and (2) will not really get it that clean. It does work well for grinding flax seeds which is what I bought it for. And the price is quite decent.

This is perfect. I use it for my flax seeds and chia seeds. It’s fast and efficient. And it looks nice on my counter. . Nice size. The inside cap is smart so nothing spills out. Well made and I like it a lot! Oh, easy to clean, I just wipe the inside with the brush that comes with it, I haven’t washed it yet with water. The noise level is akin to a normal blender. You hold the top down to,activate so puke it or hold for constant grinding.

The first use: looks nice, feels cheap, plug loose and had to be held in place to work. 2nd use: replaced the plug with improved function. Don’t think you should have to replace the plug on a new purchase, but c’est la vie. Used to grind spices for homemade garam masala—less work than mortar / pestle I was using before.
