Light, simple to set up, and use!
I got this to bring my back garden to a complete restart, it was full of weeds, unlevel and had debris and rubbish buried in it, after trying tp do it by hand I found the soil to be too compacted and back breaking. After eventually deciding to buy this model, over the slightly bigger one, I wasn't too sure what to expect, considering how bad the garden was, but after cutting the grass short, I started it up, and there was some initial bouncing, but if you let it run forward a bit, then pull it back slowly at an angle, it should work its way into the earth. I managed to do the whole garden in less than an hour, including one time it overheated, although this is possible it was also a faulty extension, but it was also on a very hot day so I wouldn't mark anything against it. For anyone requiring a garden restart, to dig a plot or wants to mix anything into their soil, I would recommend this, its light, stronger than it looks and easy to store, well worth the money, especially on a sale.

Love This !
this is brilliant and money well spent, have been using this for over six months now and it's really doing a good job - need to have a fair bit of arm strength to keep it from dragging you into the soil ! and have to ensure your lead doesn't get caught and electrify you, but it's bright orange so that helps ! anyway, i love this tool - it's turning the ground with relative ease

It kicks when you start it
Well where to begine. The tiller arrived on 5th June it's now the 6th. When it arrived I looked at it and in truth was going to send it straight back, but thought I'll try one run in the morning. My ground (and old bare lawn) is rock hard mixture of clay bricks with a little Lome top soil. It says 25 cm working depth but I was dubious. Sunday morning looked at the tiller looked at the ground and with intrepidation I started the tiller it bounced and kicked until I realised lay it back towards you and slowly lift and it will bite. Slowly working backwards I was amazed. It cut through with no problems. The only thing that stops me giving 5 stars is the weight. I could be a little bit heavier to counter the initial jumping. I am so impressed that I continued and have completed the ground to reset a proper lawn. Would I recommend hell yes if your budget is tight you can't go wrong

Great tool for the job
Seems pretty sturdy and has done a great job dealing with fairly compacted and damp earth chopping it up into fine top soil. It seems to have plenty of power for the job in hand and I breezed through the 20m squared area quickly. It does tend to jump around a bit moving forward but nicely digs in going backwards.

Small but mighty
Thought I was being extravagant buying equipment I would only use once or maybe twice a year, couldn't have been more wrong. Digging over the flower beds has always been back breaking and tedious work, this baby made it an absolute breeze. Used first time on the 12 April, ground was quite compacted so it jumped around a bit but nothing uncontrollable and once it had broken up the soil it settled down and produced a fine tilth. Turned up some large stones and the odd tree root but no damage to the blades. Blade rotation seems much higher than larger petrol ones I've hired so there is quite a bit of spray initially. Couldn't believe a machine this small could be so effective. Very, very pleased

Powerful Little Machine
Having looked at other customer reviews, I was a bit unsure whether or not to put oil in the machine. Anyway, after checking, I found that there was already oil in it. The tiller itself was perfect for the job I needed to do. I found it deceptively powerful for a relatively small machine..I was widening my driveway and had to prepare the ground for hard-core and monoblocking. It jumped a bit when first using it, but after a bit of practice using different angles, I found it very effective at grinding up the clumps of conpacted earth.

More than impressed
Bought to replace an old and finally died machine and for use in a relatively long and intended garden. The blades work well and loosens well compacted soil, even heaving buried house bricks etc out of the way mostly with ease. As with everything out of the box it is a few bolts and 5 minutes to put together and away you go. Definitely value for money, light, easy to use and time will tell on it's longevity. The real bottom line is it makes spade work a hell of a lot easier.

A lightweight, solid and robust tiller.
Lightweight wit plenty of muscle. It's not afraid to take on fist sized stones.
