Just arrived- longing to read..Saving for the holidays.

An interesting & well illustrated book - a re-print of an earlier work but no less worth having

Well written. Ties together fashion, culture, history, and even some politics. Interesting and entertaining. Bought it for a class on French Fashion in the 19th century. Would def buy again.
