Does it keep water out while letting skin breathe?

Yes. Its breathable outer film has undergone rigorous water-resistance testing, helping block external moisture and contaminants while allowing water vapor to escape for a comfortable wound environment.

Is it more absorbent than regular foam dressings or gauze?

Yes. In laboratory testing, MegaSorb absorbed up to 15× its own weight in fluid—about 5× the capacity of regular gauze and up to 2× that of selected silicone foam dressings.

Is the adhesive gentle enough for sensitive or fragile skin?

Yes. The soft, medical-grade silicone contact layer is designed for sensitive, fragile and aging skin. It helps reduce skin trauma and pain during dressing changes and is tested for irritation and sensitization under ISO 10993.

What is the maximum use time of each silicone foam dressing? How to determine whether it needs to be replaced?

The maximum use period of each silicone foam dressing is 7 days. When the exudate approaches the edge of the dressing core and the dressing core is saturated, the dressing needs to be replaced.

What should be noted during use to prevent the dressing from falling off?

Stretching the dressing during use will cause deformation and tension, which may cause the dressing to fall off. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid stretching the dressing as much as possible to ensure that it fits firmly.
