Brilliant value for money really nice smart summer riding jacket

Sizing is true to the useful chart provided, colour true to picture and material is well constructed. Good quality for price but let down by armor and armor pockets. The pockets are mesh and the armor has the CE detail inside where your skin will be - in a slide of tramac this will cause a bit of road rash - the CE detail should be on the outer side of the armor and the armor pockets should be cotton, not mesh. Recommend upgrading the armor. Oh, and the little tag logo detail stitched to the left pocket isn't included :-(

More like a light jacket than a shirt due to heavy and robust material. Am sorted for a jacket for a while now! It feels quite warm and comfy. After scouring the net for protective wear for pregnant women as sometimes am in dodgy areas I spotted this fab shirt which frankly goes with everything.It’s well padded on the elbows, shoulders and back. It’s lined with Kevlar throughout, including the chest, back and sleeves so it does add abit of weight but doesn’t look it at all. There are two front pockets which can fit a micro wallet, keys and small phone. There is also an inner pocket made of netmesh. The inner lining is Kevlar and soft net mesh with Velcro to remove padding when needed. Padding is decent, quite shockproof. You can wash the shirt/jacket at normal wash of 40 degrees. The shirt looks quite smart, I ordered mine a size up for obvious reasons so it looks more like a jacket but with actual size, it can be used as a smart casual top. There are both zip and metal pop buttons for the front for versatile wear and to keep out the chills. I use the back pad to protect my belly area. The only flaw is that it’s delivered in a huge box which takes up half the doorway and there’s a slight smell to it when opened straight from the packaging, so if you have time, pop it in the wash first.I hope there won’t be a time where I will encounter the need for this shirt’s safety functions, but all in all it’s a great item for peace of mind at a fair price.
