Where are these manufactured

The Manufacturer states they are Manufactured in China, so Amazon's product information stating they are Manufactured in the USA is wrong.

Anyone else have to wait two months for theses even though Bora says they have them?

yes waited quite a while. first two times they sent me these they sent me the wrong ones. they got it right the third time

Is it suitable for welding ?

Due to the plastic release mechanism, the anti skid material. I would shy away from any heavy duty welding. I would question the paint on the horses if it was welding temp resistance. Actually the horses would work great for welding IF some protection were used to protect the surface while welding. Other than that, give it a go!

Are these the newest version?

Yes. But consider the Kreg version. These wobble too much. Dissatisfied
