I’ve held off reviewing this item because I wanted to give it a proper try. I’ve had this for 7 months now. It was easy to set up & the manual is very comprehensive. A mounting pole/stick is required to install on a wall, which will have to be bought separately. It appears to be very accurate with atms pressure, rainfall & wind speed/gusts in line with local weather forecasts. The monitor panel for inside the house is great, giving probably far more info than you need. The app for my mobile integrates well & allows me to monitor the station anywhere, even 100 miles away. I am so pleased with it that I now consider myself a weather & climate nerd.

Installed today and am very impressed with the quality of this weather station. Did take a while to get it all lined up as required in the instructions, but does come with a comprehensive manual for both the console and outdoor sensor unit to aid installation and setup. The colour display is good and gives a clear readout on the display. Install ‘Ecowitt’ App to show graphs in different formats and upload to various weather information centres via the internet. Well recommended for all weather enthusiasts, or even if you just like gadgets in the home. To make this even better, perhaps ‘Ecowitt’ could offer the ability to print the graphs at some point. That would be nice!

Reliable all in one weather station which has performed well for months. I like the connectivity that allows you to view data remotely via the Ecowitt website. Display unit is clear and informative.

Over many years I have owned 3 previous weather stations and this one seems just as good in terms of functionality, performance and value for money (I bought it here on Amazon for £134 a few weeks ago). However, I found it difficult to set it up technically and quite complicated. It seems well built and sturdy but whether it will last long remains to be seen. Particularly like the solar powering function.

I've always wanted a weather station so I Googled the top ten, with this one being number one. It was very easy to assemble and connect to the display unit and all works really well. Very pleased with this.

I like the large colour graphics which makes it much easier to read than the LCD station I had previously. It was easy to set up too. Much admired by family members! It seems to be accurate when compared to weather apps. In all, its a nice product. The buttons signage is difficult to read however.

Very easy to set up and configure apart from connecting to Weather Underground. Setting up local wifi connectivity was straightforward. But I then messed around for ages trying to follow the instructions online and in the printed manual using the android and iOS apps and the ecowitt web page to no avail. I then thought, why not see if I can connect directly using the local IP address in my browser. This let me connect with no username or password and change whatever I wanted! I immediately set a password to prevent any third party from accessing my weather station and potentially my wifi network. Once logged into the weather station, it was very easy to set up Weather Underground. I don't know why this method is not better documented. The weather console is well laid out and provides easy access to data from the various sensors. The apps and Ecowitt web page allow visualising historical data. It would be good if individual data records could be removed. For example, I set the device up indoors, so it started with records of "outdoor" temperatures above 20 C when it was about 4 C outdoors. It seems the only solution is to reset the weather station and delete everything. That was OK this time as I only had a few hours of data. If I bring it back indoors for any reason, I will remove the batteries first. I suspect every purchaser should log into the weather station using the local IP address and set a password. The weather station is not perfect, but for the price, I think it is worth 5 stars.

Great product, easy to set up and use. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a weather station. Shipping was fast and efficient, too.
