Lovely shoes but too big for me so had to size down for good fit
These are great shoes. I made a mistake and ordered a size too big so returned them and got the right size for me which are now perfect so I am v. pleased with them. Comfortable and hard wearing, I have worn the previous pair a lot and the size was no longer readable on them. The only thing I don't like is the white stitching but with some brown shoe polish this will be hidden.

Nice shoes - Shame about the laces
I ordered these shoes especially for a garden party.They arrived on time and looked great. The first time I tried them on was on the day of the party and one of the leather laces broke as I was tying the knot.Unusually, the laces are integral with the lacing around the body of the shoe so one end is fed right around the shoe and comes up the other side so I could not just fit a new pair of laces.I managed a "fix" by supergluing the broken lace reinforced by a couple of cramped clips that were hidden beneath the eyelet flaps that the laces pass through so that the repair was invisible.The party involved a two mile walk each way. The shoes were comfortable and I have no complaints in this regard.For a £50 plus pair of shoes, it was disappointing that the laces broke so readily.As I have only worn them the once so far I cannot comment on their overall durability but they do appear to be quite well put together - Except for those laces.

Very comfortable, very hard wearing, lasted for years now!
4 years later... April 2017: These shoes are amazing. I bought them in 2012, it's now 2017. I still wear them nearly every day for work and they still look great!October 2012 - Comfy, hard wearing, bought these for work as sometimes I have to be on my feet for ten hours. They are really good quality, very comfortable, they look great, are true to size and people ask me where I got them. I have had them several months now and have waited to write the review. I can honestly say they look as good today as they did when I bought them. Highly recommended.

Good quality, comfortable and very good price.
These are not such good quality as Quayside of 20 years ago but they are still very good. The leather is thick and supportive. The shoe fits well and is extremely comfortable. These shoes are much better quality than others that cost twice the price. I would certainly buy again.

Not Unisex - women's sizing
Very disappointed. Nice shoes but women's sizing, so don't know how they can be described as unisex. Had to go back as far too small.

Chaussures bateaux Clayside
La couleur est plus foncé que sur la photo (c'est bleu marine , donc vraiment foncé ) et s'harmonise bien avec le marron. Seul reproche : les lacets qui font plastique , ils gagnerait à être de meilleure qualité . Avant de les porter , mis de l'impermeabilisant pour les protéger , aucun souci !

Buona pelle, spessa; rifinite con cura, ben cucite, senza difetti. Unica possibile critica : le stringhe sembrano un po' leggere e poco resistenti. Questo come prima impressione dopo averle indossate, col tempo vedrò come si comportano.Arrivate in un giorno come promesso.
