I wouldn’t. I’d recommend buying a 1x6 length of pine board, attaching that to your studs, and bolting the rack onto that. It’ll be nice and sturdy.

what size drill bit do I use for the screws included? the screws are for brick/concrete, which is what I intend.

When looking at installation material online it states to use a 5mm drill bit

The kit comes with a set of different fasteners for both brick and drywall/wood. I was able to line the holes up to get 2 studs per holder with the screws available
