What weight pair as far as pounds should I get for loss weight and building muscle? I was thinking of getting the 30 pound pair.

Progressive overload. 30 is great to start with if you can do 6-8 reps. Once you're doing 10 reps easily increase the weight. I know this is probably like 2 years later but the progress never stops!

Is it normal for them to smell horrible? Like it’s awful.

Not sure what an elevated lunge is but they work fine for in- place or stepping/ walking lunge.
