It works amazingly. I was having a hard time finding a Crankset to fit my Trek 830 Mountain Track which was my first bike purchase back in the 90's. The install was easy and straight forward - I watched a couple Youtube videos. My derailleur was original and just needed a little adjustment. I am not a bike mechanic but have been trying to do my own bike repairs and upgrades. The Crankset was not the exact size as the original. I believe it was 1mm or 2mm larger, but made little to no difference.
