Outstanding Slow Cooker in Function and Looks
This crock pot is wonderful! I replaced my old digital 8-quart stoneware crock pot with this new model. I love the color, it pops in my kitchen. Pretty enough to leave out on counter. It is lightweight, the insert is so easy to clean. And you can brown meat in the non stick insert, so you can brown or sauté in the pot, then throw all the other ingredients in! No extra pots to wash. It is lightweight, I struggled with my old stoneware crockpot. The controls are easy to learn and gives you more options than my old digital crockpot. I highly recommend this slow cooker!

Best slow cooker I’ve ever owned
I’ve waited to review this item until I used it several ways. I replaced my old crock pot as it was cooking too hot and had a dent and was very heavy. This new slow cooker is FABULOUS. Temperatures are correct, not too hot. Cleaning is a breeze with nonstick surface and light weight. There was no charring on the edges or the bottom. I also used it stove top to brown meat and then use as a slow cooker. Love less dishes plus getting all the “good bits” from browning in my recipes. Aldo this was an excellent price.

Read this!
This crock is KILLER. So light, nonstick, cleans like nothing, and meat can be seared on stove top! I always cook on low, but this crock actually has a MEDIUM MODE. I discovered the medium is exactly like my old crocks low. I have noticed some reviews saying low didn't cook...I discovered the MEDIUM by fiddling...as who ever heard of a medium setting on a crock???? The low is more for cheese dips, etc. So...USE THE MEDIUM for low in meats, etc and it falls apart tender! Buy this one!

Light and Right for slow cooking
This is a great slow cooker. I love that the inner bowl can be put on the stove and used to brown meat or other ingredients before using as a slow cooker. I had a problem with my old slow cooker, which had lost one of the closing clamps to hold the lid down. That had a stoneware pot and was very heavy. This GreenLife cooker is very light. The ceramic lining in the cooker works beautifully and makes it very easy to clean. I am glad I purchased it.

Review I would’ve wanted!
Writing the review I would’ve wanted to read! Loved the idea of a non-chemical insert. Though, when I first fired up this bad boy, it had a very strong odor. Haven’t smelled it since. I don’t love the buttons on this. I sometimes have to press it two or three times to do what I want. Once I get the setting right though, it works great. I’m grateful for the delay option because I’m not always ready to start cook time when I leave the house to drop off the kids. Cooks evenly and haven’t had an issue with any recipes so far. I notice the food is usually done an hour or so before recipe’s recommended cook time so just check on your food toward the end - it may not need it the full 6 or 8 hours! Can’t beat the price, very light weight and easy to pull out and put away compared to other brands with a ceramic insert.

Easy!
I love this crockpot. It is a beautiful color and easy to operate. No fancy settings, just the basics. It is a perfect size, not too large or small. Best of all, the interior bowl is removable, very lightweight, non-stick and easy to clean. I looked for a long time trying to find the right crockpot. I'm so glad I found this one. **Note: The only improvements I can suggest are making the power cord retractable and adding latches for the glass lid.

Worst crockpot ever!
This is the worst crockpot I have ever used. Honestly if I could do less than 1 Star I would. I had been using the same Crockpot for years. At least 15 years with my last one. It was old, the buttons were getting less responsive and the coating on the ceramic bowl was worn down to nothing. We use the crockpot EVERY weekend through winter. I want to make this clear to establish that I am VERY familiar with using crockpots. I opted for this one based on great reviews and the fact that it had none of the toxic stuff. I have never regretted a product more. This thing manages to over cook meat to a husk while NOTA COOKING vegetables hardly at all. I don’t ever know how it manages to do that. In my old crockpot I would put a roast in for 8 hours and add the vegetables about 3 hours before it was done. We’d have a perfectly cooked roast and veggies. This one, the first roast was done for 8 hours on LOW and it was a freaking husk and the veggies may as well have been RAW! I have used it now for about a month trying variations to try to figure out if it was just a matter of learning different settings. It’s not. This is a hunk of garbage. Which we can’t even return anymore because it’s now been used. I am sitting here writing this while eating another ruined dinner. It’s barely even WARM right out of the damn thing and the meat is HORRIBLY over cooked and dry while the potatoes and carrots are solid and barely cooked. I am livid by this giant waste of money. I should have just paid the extra and stuck with the crockpot brand.
