I didn't know how much lint was going down my sink drain! I have a portable washer that drains into my kitchen sink. Now I know why it was always so slow.

A little flimsy compared to the ones you buy at the hardware store so might not last as long, but still functional and a good enough value

They help keep the lint out of the drain , otherwise it clogs up .

I usually ordered the 2 pack of these from a different manufacturer and when I went to order this time, the 2 pack was almost $8 usd.(I know that price varies). When I seen the 'similar items' area and it had a 24 pack for just about 5 dollars more than I was going to pay for the other brand.... I had to give it a shot. I am glad I did. These traps work great on our washer drain hose which we have draining in to our wash-up sink in the basement and wanted to avoid the extra lint going down the drain. I would say they work just as good, if not better than the brand that sells them in 2packs only. Sometimes you take a shot at something cheaper with more quantity, and you get what you pay for, cheap and not as effective. In this case , it paid off and I found something equally as good, for much less than I was paying. I will be ordering these again when it's time to restock.

We got this to replace the stocking we have been using ... replacing every so often. The problem with the stocking is it stretches when full and occassionaly plugs the drain which causes the slop sink to overflow. Bad stuff.These shoulid help - shorter, stronger and no stretch. The mesh seems tight enough to catch even the smallest of lint - and it seems to be working. Each of these 'pads' are like condoms - each is unrolled and tie wrapped to the outlet pipe from the washer. Who knew? I figured it was one long crazy stack of something. They CANNOT BE USED in a stand-pipe arrangement because they could fall in and then plug the drain.

They are easy to use, good value for your money.

They work great. My only issue is that they fall off once they get too full from the washer and it clogs the sink. I'm replacing them about once a month but I'm guessing I need to do it sooner than that. This is my only complaint otherwise I'm very happy with my purchase.
