I recently added the VIZIO V-Series 2.0 Compact Home Theater Sound Bar (V20-J8) to my entertainment setup, and it has exceeded all expectations, delivering a stellar audio experience in a sleek and compact design. The DTS Virtual:X technology works wonders in creating a surround sound atmosphere without the need for additional speakers. Whether I'm watching movies, streaming shows, or playing games, the immersive audio quality adds a new dimension to my viewing experience. The sound is crisp, clear, and fills the room, making every moment more engaging. One of the standout features for me is the Bluetooth connectivity. Pairing the sound bar with my devices is a breeze, and the wireless streaming capability allows me to enjoy my favorite playlists with impressive sound quality. The Bluetooth feature also adds convenience for those who want to declutter their space without compromising on audio performance. The inclusion of voice assistant compatibility is a thoughtful touch. Being able to control the sound bar with my voice using a compatible assistant enhances the overall user experience. It's a testament to VIZIO's commitment to keeping up with modern technology trends. The compact design of the sound bar is another plus. It fits seamlessly into my entertainment setup without taking up much space. The minimalist aesthetic adds a touch of sophistication to my living room, and the included remote control ensures easy navigation and customization of settings.Setting up the VIZIO V-Series sound bar was a straightforward process, and the user-friendly interface makes it accessible for everyone. The remote control is intuitive, and the on-screen display provides clear feedback when adjusting settings.Considering the competitive price point, the VIZIO V-Series 2.0 Sound Bar is a fantastic value for the quality of audio it delivers. Good price .does the job.
it does the job for a not the loudest. But perfect in bedroom. Almost making these a requirement with all TVs now.

Very nice, great sound for the price.
It has a good sound for the price, smaller for better placement and has arch support that works well with the TV.

Voice Assistant support is a GREAT unexpected bonus
When I bought the soundbar, I had given no consideration to attaching an Alexa device to it, but as I was hooking things up, I became curious about the AUX VA 3.5mm jack. I had an Echo Input on hand and decided to try it. The Echo Input is no longer available, but an Echo Dot or Google Home Mini should function exactly the same. I have the soundbar attached to the TCL TV's HDMI ARC jack and am AMAZED at how well the three devices function together. When you say the “Alexa” wake word, the TV is automatically muted for the duration of the response. If you give a command that plays music, the music plays continuously while the video remains playing on the TV. This integration with the TV is in addition to being able to hear any voice assistant output over the soundbar when the TV is off. I will leave detailed reviews about the sound output to others, I'll just say that I am pleased with it even without a subwoofer

Great sound!
We are using a rather aging Vizio TV with horrible speakers. We hooked up this sound bar & it now sounds like a new TV.

Very low voice level
By the exorbitant amount of raving reviews, I'm shocked to my disappointment in this soundbar. It's merely plug and play indeed, but lacks any real adjustments though. I paired this with a Vizio 50" MQX TV, so I was expecting a well balanced sound...or at least better than the small rear drivers in the MQX. What I got was very superb high quality sound of every type EXCEPT the most important...speech! With the TV speaker volume it needs to be about 20-25 out of 100 to be loud enough. With this soundbar it needed to be 64-70 for the voices to be sufficient volume. BUT, then the music, dynamic sounds and immersive sounds would be blaringly loud. Another thing on the sound, as a gamer, it got rather annoying trying to tweak the minimal adjustments to make the two games I tried out sound pleasantly, but then when I switched to TV for a movie, I had to re-tweak the sound for TV. The few EQ sets it has doesn't seem to set and stay set upon changing. Also, while using the soundbar, twice my TV suddenly restarted on two occasions and my TV's picture settings would suddenly disable numerous settings greying them out until I changed picture set to and from... Soon as I stopped using the bar, that odd issue stopped as well.Even just the mediocre speech leveling alone, I cannot recommend this bar. Can't enjoy a movie if you can't hear what they're saying unless you wish to go deaf from every other sound in the film... In conclusion, I am returning the V20 soundbar as I'm rather disappointed the voice leveling is something they seemed to have forgotten to equal out.
