PIC Bugables Citronella Scented Coil Wristbands, Reusable and Resealable, One Size Fits All (Pack of 25)

These are awesome! Two years ago, I was given one while on a trip to an island off the coast of Mexico. Hot, humid and sweat producing created the perfect environment to attract all those biting bugs! AND I am one of those people that seem to get bitten when others do not! It comes in a plastic resealable pouch which helps to maintain its freshness. The rubber coil bracelets easily fit any size wrist or ankle. I STILL use my original one, but bought this multi pack so that I can throw individual pouches in different to go bags and also to give a couple away to friends.

These work when everyone told me they wouldn't. I do wear one on each ankle and one on each wrist. So wonderful not to be bit multiple times by mosquitos when I'm out waterning the flowers.

These wristbands are simple to use and comfortable to wear outdoors. The citronella scent helps initially, and the resealable packaging makes them easy to store and reuse. The only downside is that the scent tends to fade after some time, so effectiveness may decrease with extended use. Overall, still a convenient option for outdoor protection.

I got this large pack to take on a group trip to an all inclusive resort in Jamaica. The resort does fog for mosquitoes every morning and every evening BUT I also wore one of these on my wrist every evening while walking around also. I liked the different colors so I could match my dress. They look like some of the swirly hair ties and not terrible with other bracelets. They DO smell like citronella so while I was at dinner I slipped it off and put it in my wristlet, then back on once we went back outside. It could have been the resort fogging or the bracelets but I was not bitten at all on our trip. I will put them to the true test in a few weeks for our annual Chincoteague island VA visit. Their state bird is the mosquito (wink wink) so I could see needing to wear one on each wrist and each ankle as I’m normally always bitten while there, I will update after.

Mosquitoes love me! Citronella candles don't help at all. Bug spray eventually sweats off. But these worked for a solid 8, maybe 10 hours before I went inside. And not 1 Mosquito bite! I need to buy stock in these! I wouldn't recommend wearing it on your wrist if you're going to have your hand anywhere near your face. It's very strong! I wear it on my ankle.

Love these so much! Easy to use and easy to put on. You can use one or even two on on wrist and one on ankle. They do in fact work to keep bug away. Use them kayaking and love them.

Work well but wears off/ineffective after several uses.

There is a beautiful river walk in my town, and I love to get out there and do some powerwalking as often as possible. However, in the summer, there are mosquitoes everywhere because mosquitoes love water. I cannot stand most mosquito sprays because of the scent, the chemicals I’m putting on my body, and the need to wash them off. I decided I would try these one year and I wasn’t taking chances and put one on each wrist and one on each ankle. I did not have one mosquito bite, and I didn’t feel one mosquito come near me. I highly recommend these. I just happen to love the scent of citronella, so it doesn’t bother me at all. Feel free to use as many as I did or double up. Whatever makes you feel more protected. The best thing about these is that they last several months, so when I’m finished with my walk, I put them in a Ziploc bag and use them again.

Well, they really do work. I can now enjoy gardening and do it when it suits me. I can also sit on my back deck and read or relax in peace… getting the most out of daylight saving hours. They really are a game changer but I wish they had an indicator that told you when they were no longer active.
