I've had this item installed for a few months now and am very pleased with it's performance. I use it over the front entrance of my country store. It surprises a few people when entering but they are good with it. Added pluses that i didn't expect... It will cause any insects a second pause about following anyone inside. This is great for not only flies but wasps and hornets, especially if your cooking food indoors. It's helped keep back dust from entering. The air curtain really has contributed in keeping the hot air from entering, I noticed a drop in temperature by 4 degrees on average. I think these would work great for workshops as well.

We bought this to control the flies coming in and out the back door when we let our dogs in and out. Nice high-quality air curtain. Arrived undamaged and well packed. Seems to work great. The only negative I would give it is the unit is black and looks amazing but the door switch and wire are white. I don’t really like that but if your door framing is white I guess it would be OK. I covered the wiring with a mesh wire protector so it wasn’t an eyesore. If you plan to mount this to brick you better have the right tools and know what you’re doing or it can be a little tricky.

First product I have reviewed in a long time. I would give it more than 5 stars. Have horses and flys- this keeps the flys out. It also keeps the heat inside(the house is noticeably warmer). Others have complained about noise. The powerful rush of air is music to my ears- saving us money and hanging up the fly swatter for good. I looked at other units at a restaurant supply store costing double the price and the build quality of this unit is much better. Love the matte black and the instructions were top notch. I had to run wire and an outlet for it in the attic- it was well worth it. Looking forward to the summer to keep the house cool and to see a reduction in our energy bill. I really think every home should have one of these and this brand is exceptional (from it’s packaging to operation).

Installation was a cinch. Everything was included in the package. The unit is a bit heavy so you'll want help getting it mounted, but once it's up, it's sturdy and reliable. We've had it going for about a week now, and we've seen a huge impact on the number of flies that get into the house.

It’s perfect

We now don’t feel bad leaving the door open to keep the cool air in and bugs out. We’re getting another one for the back of the house. It took a few days getting use to it but just with anything else, it takes some adjustments.
