Does it have a smell?

Well, I just went and sniffed it for you. 😊 The capsules don’t, and I open them and pour the powder onto my cat’s wet food every morning. I’ve never noticed any smell. It’s made a difference for her. Been buying them at least a couple of years now.

Can can zylkene be safely given along with bach rescue remedy for pets?

I don’t know the answer to your question. My vet recommended this for my pet so I would recommend you ask your veterinarian the question...

Are the capsules compostable?

These capsules seem to be made of the same geletin based material as capsules for human supplements/medications. They melt away so I would say yes, they're compostable.

Can this be mixed with a bit of water and put into a syringe for oral administration?

Probably. I open the capsule, put it on my cat's wet food and add a bit of water.
