Illuminating and Thought-Provoking with Inside Knowledge of Donald Trump
This political election season has been the most engaging, confounding, entertaining, and mind-bending in modern American history, and it's all because of one candidate: Donald J. Trump.Dr. Lance Wallnau is a well-read thinker and an unflappably upbeat believer who, by happenstance (or providence), found himself in the company of African-American Christian pastors and other widely-known ministers in multiple faith-based meetings with candidate Donald Trump. This book contains some insider details from those meetings along with some interesting reactions and statements by Donald Trump. It also contains some insight that Lance believes the Lord has given him regarding Mr. Trump. For these reasons, the book is well worth the quick read.MY EXTENDED THOUGHTS:"Donald Trump is a wrecking ball to the spirit of political correctness!" (p.21). Lance Wallnau made this statement early in the primary season, and today the evidence is right in front of us.Much of the chaos brewing in America has been driven, in part, by the Orwellian overreach of political correctness as practiced by intolerant leftists and social justice warriors bent on destroying the careers, reputations, and sometimes the safety of those who cross the line of politically correct behavior, speech, and thought. We all know conservative Christian businesspeople have been punished for their faith as "bigots" and "haters," but the trail of victims in this Orwellian clampdown goes FAR beyond Christians. Atheists, gays, secular college students, and men and women who question third-wave feminism have been caught in the crosshairs of Orwellian political correctness, too, and many of them are now avid Trump supporters. Visit any Trump haven online and you will find the most eclectic mix of people the Republican Party has never seen before. While the trade issue has invigorated working-class folks in the rust belt, the political correctness problem has invigorated countless others from all walks of life.Hillary's "deplorables" speech summed up the enemies list: Ordinary, decent, hard-working Americans are now racists, sexists, homophobes, xenophobes, Islamophobes.... wherein you're "racist" if you support a border wall and oppose illegal immigration, "sexist" if you support natural gender roles and stay-at-home motherhood, "xenophobic" if you oppose mass immigration or open borders, and "Islamophobic" if you mention "radical Islam" or question the wisdom of mass Islamic migration. The truth is, the dramatic increase in Muslim migration and Islamic terrorist attacks in Europe helped motivate the anti-establishment Brexit vote in Britain, and some of that is in play Trump's popularity as well.In many ways, the election has come down to "political correctness": Whether you are gay, straight, black, white, Christian, atheist, or otherwise, the more you witness and oppose the insanity of Orwellian political correctness, the more likely you are to support the bull in a china shop, the bulldozer of the establishment, the wrecking ball of political correctness, Donald J. Trump.Wallnau is spot on: Political correctness has been dealt a significant blow by Donald Trump's politically incorrect boldness. Consider Trump's most famous statements: We're going to build a big, beautiful wall, with a big, beautiful door, and Mexico is going to pay for it. Now disregarding the funding aspect, I do know that Heaven itself has a big, beautiful wall with a big, beautiful door, and nobody gets in there illegally. In fact, God himself establishes all national borders (Acts 17:22-26), requires that they be respected (Deuteronomy 2), speaks positively of walls in scripture (Proverbs 25:28), and expects His children to abide by the law (Romans 13). The lawlessness that many in the church have openly welcomed and even advocated for (see globalist George Soros's funding of liberal Christian immigration groups) is decidedly unbiblical, and it took a politically incorrect carnal wrecking ball like Trump to help expose that sin in the body of Christ while bucking the political winds that, prior to Trump, were blowing strongly in favor of globalism and open borders... both of which are humanistic and lead to satanic one-world governance. I also suspect that much of Trump's organized opposition in the establishment GOP is connected to the push toward globalism, open borders, and open trade that both political parties are involved in. Hillary's recently-leaked speeches to big multinational banks revealed that she, too, supports globalism: "My dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders..." This sounds rather much like Babylon the Great to student of Scripture. It's certainly not a godly position.Perhaps inspired in part by Trump's wrecking ball effect, many citizens formerly cowed by "the spirit of political correctness" are beginning to openly disregard the "deplorable" monikers of the intolerant left and speak openly regardless of the slander they receive. While Trump's past moral faults are on display for all to see, Trump's boldness evidently exceeds that of most believers today, who have grown to value being polite over speaking the truth in love. John the Baptist, Jesus, Peter, and Paul do not strike me as particularly polite; it is as though Biblical love has been rewritten in our minds as a squishy, borderless love that bears little resemblance to Christ and the apostles. Likewise, when we look at the political judges and kings that God established in Scripture -- Samson, David, Solomon, Cyrus, Jehu -- we see that they were not squeaky clean. At some point, they were all carnal men. Samson was a carnal man right up to his capture; we don't hear of his repentance but we do hear of his faith in Hebrews 11. Few Christians today would vote for a Samson-like figure. Wallnau identifies Trump as a Samson-like figure, or more specifically, a Cyrus-like figure: A born leader who is anointed by God for His purposes (read Isaiah 45).Beyond the Biblical examples, Wallnau also points to secular leaders in history who played key roles, by God's common grace on all people, in defending civilization: "In light of secular, historical figures like Washington, Lincoln, Churchill, and Thatcher, I believe Christians need to change their search criteria. We should start looking for evidence of who is anointed to get results rather than who is the most committed Christian. The battle for the survival of Christian civilization is already upon us." (p.127)As I read Lance's words about Trump, I consider the evidence already before us: Trump's candidacy has already led to (or coincided with) a paradigm shift in American politics. In sixteen short months since Trump's announcement, America has realigned from a long-running cultural and political battle with deep trenches -- between conservatives and liberals -- to an entirely new and perpendicular battle where old political enemies often become allies and old allies sometimes become adversaries. Politically transcendent battles are now being waged between nationalists and globalists, between populists and the establishment, and between dangerous deplorable dissidents and social justice warriors. Many Christians, still rooted in the liberal-versus-conservative mindset, are wondering what in the world is going on, and why on earth a politically-incorrect billionaire with a decidedly carnal past has rocketed from being universally dismissed as a non-serious "joke candidate" to the Republican nominee with an unwavering base of high-energy supporters with a shot at the American Presidency. I believe Wallnau's insights help to shed light on the situation, and I encourage my fellow believers to read it and give it a fair hearing.MY RATING: 4.9 stars: 5 stars for fascinating content and inside information, minus 0.1 star for what appears to be a rushed edit (some content is repeated)... which is understandable given the pre-election time constraint. Very interesting, and well worth the read.

American "Cyrus"?
Before I begin my review I must be upfront about myself. I was so cynical about politics I didn't even watch the debates. Why bother? Candidates just lie about everything before the election and then pay off their high paying donors with "favors" after the election. Business as usual. Right? Maybe not.In this book, Lance Wallnau lays out a convincing argument from both the Bible and personal experiences about what the role of President Trump might be for America. He was one of a group of conservative evangelical Christian leaders advisors who met with candidate Trump. I don't know if they continue to advise President Trump or not. But it was interesting to see how this group from different ethnic backgrounds were talking with candidate Trump and how he appeared to really listen to what they were saying. This might surprise some Christians. Lance Wallnau shares the journey from where the campaign began to where we might end up in America. Remember this was released before November 8, 2016 and why he felt it was important for Christians to vote for candidate Trump. He also reminds followers of Jesus (like myself) of spiritual realities that the Bible clearly talks about especially in the New Testament. Our enemies are not human beings regardless of political parties. We have an enemy that is pulling the strings of both those who call themselves Christians and those who are pre-Christians. The real warfare is there. This is the first time I have read one of Lance Wallnau's books. I was impressed. I learned things about now President Trump that he doesn't like to talk about like his generosity with people. There was a story of a man who stopped to help Donald Trump's limo that had a flat tire in a rain storm. This guy got out and changed the tire. He was thanked and, if I am remembering correctly, his personal information was taken. Donald Trump was so impressed with this guy he ended up paying the rest of his mortgage as a thank you. You won't hear THAT on the alphabet networks!Even though I read this book after the election I thought it was a convincing argument from Lance Wallnau that President Trump is America's "Cyrus" (Isaiah 45) who is supposed to bring about a reformation in this country. This book presents an interesting weave between what was seen in the natural and things that might have been going on in the spiritual. It also presents a convincing argument of why followers of Jesus should get involved in society and culture. This was definitely the most contentious presidential election in my lifetime. Whether you like this president or not, this book will challenge you. I was not a Trump supporter during the nomination process. I changed my mind a couple of times based on the actions of those running. I humbly admit that it was my arrogance and pride that prevented me from seeing President Donald Trump as my choice. I had to say that. This book is still a good read after the election and I highly recommend it.

An Accurate Prophetic Forecast
I think the book is well written and speaks to what took place leading to the election in November 2016. But there’s more. Wallnau advances serious thoughts on governance that need expression, namely, the need for “common grace” not “saving grace” in political candidates. America needs qualified experienced leadership. Then candidate Trump had that leadership capability aka “common grace” to lead America from it’s state of debauchery. Ironically, Wallnau proposed candidate Trump had the grace to lead us from our sins. He was right. That happened.Interestingly, one of the most prophetic statements made by Wallnau was not in reference to candidate Trump. Rather, it was in reference to the coming loss of free speech. Wallnau describes that coming loss of free speech now plastering the headlines of America’s news. Right now, Elon Musk, of all people, is seeking to outright buy Twitter (for the purpose of saving it) to salvage it by restoring freedom of speech to a platform built to bulwark freedom of speech.Amazing! Wallnau predicted it before it happened. Impressive! I recommend this book. The reason I gave the book 4 stars is the failure to proofread this book prior to publishing it; it has several typos. Grammar and spelling are important qualities in a book publisher, author, etc.

Every person interested in Donald Trump and in understanding him ...
Every person interested in Donald Trump and in understanding him should read this book. The author believed he had propheticwords long before Mr.Trump was the Republican candidate and he sheds a lot of insight as to why so many including Christians voted for this flawed character. Readers may not agree with everything but they will be much more enlightened especially those who seek to know what God might be doing in an election that was much prayed about.Richard Hill

Great insight from GOD's perspective (Cyrus anointing), not so great printing (shades of grey).
Stunning GOD given insights as to why Donald Trump ran for President and why GOD wants him there in the White House, things you probably never heard before. Too bad the printing vacillates between black and half-tone grey again and again. Lance also seems to type an "Opps!" when he compares Donald Trump's 70 years to a Jubilee. Leviticus 25:8 describes it as the year after seven series of seven (Sabbath years) so it's the 50th year (not the70th). An otherwise informative read from someone who spent time with Mr. Trump and expounds on some of the philanthropy Donald tries to keep a secret. Several informative economic statistics about small business. Pray for the President (elect) for the battle with evil is NOT over, don't go back to sleep! Donald has risked his very life for the USA, he needs spiritual back-up in the heavenly realms to complete what GOD has purposed. The harvest hangs in the balance.

Answers to prayer.
People who aren't familiar with scripture may find the contents of this book difficult to fathom, but just know this: there is more to this life than meets the naked eye. The testimonies of people such as Dutch Sheets, Franklin Graham, and the author, Dr. Lance Wallnau who have tapped into the supernatural, vastly differ from the opinions of those who look on events and people only with their earthly eyes. In 2007, Kim Clement prophesied the coming to pass of the events written about in this book...the election of Donald Trump as the 45th POTUS.

Right for the times!
Lance describes the current condition of the church perfectly. The Church is so out of touch with the gospel and in essence has been lulled to sleep as corruption has crept into the church so much so that it is indistinguishable from the world's corruption. It is time for believers to wake up and recognize the severity of its health or lack of.
