Reptile Heat Lamp, UVA UVB Reptile Light with 360° Rotatable Hose and Timed, Heating Lamp with 2 Bulbs Suitable for Bearded Dragon Reptiles Turtle Lizard Snake (Heat Lamp 25w/50w Bulb)

I turned it on and the light bulb came crashing out of the lamp fixture. I thought it was just that the bulb wasn't screwed in tight but it is worse... the metal ring that hold the bulb into the lamp was actually attached to the bulb. See picture 1. I unscrewd the ring for picture 2. Picture 3 is of the lamp. Without this metal ring the lamp cannot work... the bulb can't be screwed in. I think the metal ring also gets the electricity to the bulb. So No more light for my frog unless this company replaces this lamp. I cannot figure out what held this metal ring in place either... no screws or glue. I don't know what was keeping this ring in or what was holding the bulb in. I guess that is why the lamp bulb and ring crashed to the ground! This is dangerous. It could have easily fallen into my frogs cage and hit him. And it was HOT! It would have burned my poor frog, probably would have killed him. This is definitely a manufacturer's defect. This arrived in April, It is now October. It should have lasted longer than that!

This item works well all year around, especially during winter season. You can change the brightness (heat level) from low, medium, to high with arrows on the product's light switch. It also has a timer if you are out doing errands or sleeping. I have not used the timer feature yet. We have used this product for almost two years now for my hermit crabs and the durability is great.

The light needed to be replaced and the entire socket came out and won't go back in. Now the 30 days is up and won't get a replacement I bet

I’m a new snake owner and I was told to keep one side of the enclosure around 90F and the other side around 70F. Hognoses are diurnal meaning active when the sun it up and sleep when it’s dark. On top of already having a heat mat, I decided to buy this lamp and have it on during the day, you know, knock two birds with one stone (light + heat). I put off using it when I received it because I didn’t think that far ahead in terms of where I’m going to clamp this lamp. After about a week or so, I installed a wiring rack for stable clamping. I used it for only one day (3/2/23)! Turned it on during the day, played with placement to make sure the temperature was right, and at night I turned it off and unplugged it from the power strip. The next day, today 3/3/23, I was just about to plug it into the power strip, and when I ran my hand down the cord to find the plug, something scratched my hand. The wiring melted the plastic part of the cord and a clear gap showed the wiring inside. I contacted Amazon immediately and the representative advised me not to plug it in and return for a refund. I told her I’d buy another one because it might just be a malfunctioning one I received. But after some research, aka looking through reviews, I learned this product has a trend to likely stop working in a few months. I’ll refrain from purchasing this product again.

I just got my turtle a while ago, and I am still learning more about how to care for it. My turtle started doing flips in the water, and was acting weird. After I did some research, i found that I needed a heating lamp, so I got this one. My turtle is not acting weird anymore and seems happy. The lamp didn’t burn the plastic basking area, and it makes the tank really warm, so I am pretty sure it works well. It was easy to move and the cord reaches the outlet just fine. It came with a second light bulb for when its time to replace the first one. So far it lasted me about a month. The clamp is very sturdy. The bending part of it (idk what its called) is pretty long, but I put it on my tank backwards to make it fit better. (My tank is small right now but I’m looking for a bigger one)

Light worked great for 5 months. I’m not sure if the timer worked properly though, I would just leave it on & manually turn off. The other day I heard a loud pop. I thought the bulb died so I changed the bulb, but it still doesn’t work.

Eso acabó con la vieja en el camión del punto limpio 🚚♻️ Además la pinza es metálica y muy potente, se agarra genial a la pared de cristal. El flexo es fuerte y se orienta en cualquier dirección ⤵️ El casquillo se calienta como advierten las instrucciones. Está señalizado con su pegatina ⚠️ Incluye 2 bombillas, una de 25W y otra de 50W💡 El envío está muy bien protegido. Merece la pena pagar un poco más por un producto bien hecho.

So much better than the old school versions. I’ve had my turtle for 11 years and have gone through many of the old school ones. Will stick to this version much easier to use just clamp on the tank and I love it has different settings and a timer. It also comes with two different bulbs.
