Q: The listing says "occupancy vacancy sensor" can this be used solely as a vacancy sensor?

The OS-306U is Auto On/Auto Off only. The model VS-306U is Manual On/Auto Off only. The OS-306U cannot be set to operate in Vacancy Mode, according to the instruction sheet. The OS-310U is Auto On/Auto Off, but it can be set to Manual On/Auto Off. The model VS-310U is Manual On/Auto Off. The Model OS-310U can be set to operate in Vacancy Mode, so it behaves like model VS-310U. But note that that model requires a neutral wire connection in the outlet box. However, I do not recommend this model due to reliability concerns. Instead, I recommend a Lutron Maestro MS-OPS2. That switch can be set for Vacancy Mode. It does not require a neutral connection. The Lutron Maestro has been trouble-free in operation for several years. If you require a switch with Auto On/Auto Off that can be set to Vacancy Mode and can also be set to stay off while a room is occupied (Auto On/Manual Off), get Lutron Maestro MS-OP6M2-DV. That model also does not require a neutral connection. It can also be used as a 3-way switch for secondary operation from another location.

Q: Does this switch have a Dusk to Dawn sensor, or will it turn on in the afternoon if motion is noticed?

The title for this device is Wall Mount Occupancy Vacancy Sensor, so no dusk to dawn capability. Also this is in the description: " When the device senses motion it will turn lights on" and "When the room is empty it will turn lights off".

Q: Can two units be used with double entrance?

If you are referring to replacing an existing 3-way application, per the instruction sheet, the answer is YES > carefully follow the wiring diagram > the switches will work in "parallel".

Q: Will this work with an exhaust fan?

I believe it will. It is a motion sensor. The fan would come on when someone walks into the room and stay on as long as the person is inside.
