Just to be clear: this includes the three novelisations of the original trilogy that's Star Wars by Alan Dean Foster (based on George Lucas' screenplay), The Empire Strikes Back by Donald F Glut and Return of the Jedi by James Kahn. That's over 700 pages, including details that were not in the movies due to time and budgetary restrictions. As if that wasn't enough, though, the quality of this edition is wonderful. Hardback, in embossed leather, guilt-edged in silver with a sewn in bookmark. Add to this Ralph McQuarrie endpapers, an introduction by George Lucas and a poster of the movie stuck in at the back (but easily removed). And bought for less than the price of one of the paperbacks? Absolute bargain. Even if it wasn't this price it's a lovely item - one to be kept and passed on to those who have only seen the movies.
