I only put 4 stars because I haven't used used the liquid latex yet. However, the cuticle oil is well worth the 4 stars alone. My nails look and feel much healthier. My nails were already done when product arrived. I removed the polish, washed my hands well then applied the cuticle oil. The next morning my nails are much happier then ever before! So if you are hesitant about buying this product. Do it for the oil! Will try to edit when I use the latex.

My friend uses a different latex for when she does her stamping and I can definitely tell a difference in quality versus these that I purchased. These are usable, but more difficult to come off from your skin even after putting a couple of layers on so it's thick enough to easily pull with tweezers, but it's not always. There is better products out there.*Update* - vendor offered refund. Great customer service. Perhaps I have a bad batch of the latex. Would try other products from Vendor. Increasing rating to 3 stars for customer service.

Sure it has a smell... but in all honesty, unless you're doing your nails inside a snug cardboard box, its not that bad. You should have decent ventilation when doing nails anyway because of other fumes. Plus, washing your hands when you're done with your nails (which you're supposed to do anyway before applying cuticle oil) will remove any lingering odor. So, really, idk why these other people are complaining. It works INCREDIBLY well. Considering I'm an amateur at painting nails (I usually just paint all over my finger and then hope the parts on my skin wash off in the shower), this is a godsend. It makes my life so easy. I dont have to worry about getting polish on my skin and drying it out. Plus, if I get any latex on the nail itself, I can use the Tweezers provided to go around the edges to free up the plate completely. 1000% recommend. Haven't used the cuticle oil yet bit I can't imagine it being bad.. its oil... itll moisturize. Which is the point. Lol.

I am the worst at painting my nails. I don’t like spending money to get my nails done unless it’s a special occasion, so I try to paint my own. But I get paint all the way around the nail and on my finger tips. Long story short, I got this because I liked the idea of putting it on my skin and not having to worry if I got out of line. This stuff is pretty sticky, so it stays on the edges of the nail, which is great, but it also means if you accidentally put your fingers together, they will get stuck and can mess up the base. It also clumps up in the bottle and you get chunks on the brush, so you have to use a baby wipe or something to wipe down the brush so you aren’t trying to spread little balls of latex every time you use it, often after just a couple fingers. Overall, after using a couple of times and figuring out these little annoyances, I’ve gotten better at making it work. It is easy to take off and blocks the polish from getting on my skin, but if you don’t let the nail polish completely dry, you can pull off some of the actual polish on the edges, which may smudge a bit. My nails look better after I paint them and use this than when I don’t use it, but it does take practice.

My hands aren't the steadiest out there I'm not gonna lie. So sometimes, even if I'm focusing really hard I still get polish on my cuticle or places other than my nail. This stuff helps with that.You apply it around the nail before you go to put any product on, if you get it on the nail you can just use your finger to push it back or peel it all off and start overThen you apply your polish, removing the latex tape before it dries to make sure the mani comes out nice and clean. I reapply latex after each layer cause if you're polish dries to this stuff it could ruin the way the surface dries

I would give 5 stars but for 1 reason. After you put this on the skin around your nails, if the latex touch anything, i.e. next finger, the entire latex pulls right off. You either keep your fingers stretched out, or do 1 at a time. I bought this because I have Diabetic neuropathy and can't stretch finger out, or paint nails easy. 1 at a time means waiting for each nail to dry before removing latex. You need to have good eyesight and not get any latex on the nail. After 1 use the latex globs up on brush, which does not come off with remover and try as you will can't pull it off with your fingers. I love this idea will keep looking for produce that comes with cleaner for brush or spacers for finger that won't stick to latex. Toe spacers don't work.

The latex is supposed to be easy to remove but it is not. It comes off in tiny pieces and I even had to scrub some off. The cuticle oil is ok.

I got a message from the company letting me know that the formula has been updated for use with an LED curing lamp and you don't have to peel it off until your gel polish manicure is finished. I like the pink best because it's more visible and seems thicker. You do have to put a couple of coats on so that it peels off better. I tried it on my left hand. The white was thinner and even after 2 coats it was still not thick enough to peel off easily. I tried it on my right hand and my fingers kept sticking together. I'll try the opposite next time. I do like the tweezers because of the pointed tip which helps to pick it off. I was having trouble with chrome powder sticking to my skin and being difficult to remove. This solved the problem.
