Q: Why would the cold water flow rate reduce dramatically after 1 yr of use

This shower system has 10 years warranty, please don't worry. Regarding your problems, I think the hot cold water side or shower cartridge was clogged. Please shut off the main shut-off valve in your bathroom or home. Then you can try to remove the shower cartridge. Also, please run the water after removing the cartridge to make impurities washed out. Also, please disassemble the shower cartridge and wash it. The wand simply slides out of the slide bar holder. The holder moves up and down along the slide bar, and the wand attaches to the holder. It is awesome!
