Sharks of the World: A Complete Guide (Wild Nature Press)

This is THE book on sharks
I could not be happier with this purchase. I was looking for a large, exhaustive, unflinchingly technical and scientific book about the biology/morphology/taxonomy of sharks written for intelligent adult readers who aren't shy of diving head-first into internet research in effort to understand whatever terms with which they might not be familiar. That, to my unashamedly high standards, is exactly what I got with this book -- with plenty of gorgeous, well-rendered photos, drawings, diagrams, and charts/graphs too! This book is a must-purchase for anyone seriously or academically interested in sharks. It is also an entirely thorough field guide for anyone who spends time in-or-on the ocean and finds themself fascinated and curious to know more about those majestic, imposing predators whom they are fortunate enough to often encounter. I don’t usually review products, but this book is genuinely worth recommending.

One word: perfect.
As a biologist, this is one of the best book I’ve ever read. An extremely good job from the authors.
