The contortions to which my standard wallet was subjected in my hip pocket produced cracked credit cards. This solution of a durable metal case, nicely organized in "folders," and with plenty of capacity has made that a thing of the past. The clasp is not the easiest to open, but it stays shut and will not accidentally spring open. In just a few months of use, one side has taken a few hits and reveals a few dents - see pic. It doesn't really matter to me, but some folks may think it will remain dent-free in their pocket or purse. Don't expect that. However, I'm very happy to have something that does not contort and destroy my plastic while also having everything in one place and easily accessible. It still goes in my hip pocket and I frankly haven't noticed a difference - the wallet was THAT big already, so I must have a butt-dent that adapts to this hard-shell wallet. :)

I have purchased these more than once. They make great little stocking stuffers, office exchange gifts and something for each member of your family. They can hold a few dollars folded, an ID Card for school, the library card or even a credit card or two. While not water proof, they can get wet and not ruin paper inside if not immersed for a while. I'm fairly sure I will purchase these again as they will break if over stuffed or dropped onto a hard surface. But I still give them 5 stars because they are so very useful, you just have to be careful how much you put into them.

This wallet is a bit thicker than the ones I've used before. So beware of that. These appear to be very sturdy. The latch does not break as easily as others I've used in the past, and I've tried. Also, the outer shell does not separate, which was an annoyance with others I've tried. NOTE - the thickness is the only reason I did not give it five stars.

Was looking for a inexpensive way to protect my credit cards from being hacked and I found this to be just the ticket. Only issues is that when I have dropped this to the ground by accident it does does not hold up. The aluminum outer case gets damaged really easily along with the interior pockets. Otherwise a wise buy.

I purchased this wallet, because it had a large capacity. It is unfortunate that the 1st slot tore before I was able to put a card. The 1st and last slots could use some reinforcement.

I love the 12 slots , I have used the 7 slots for years. They need to improve the closing latch

The fact that this wallet has numerous card slots was a bonus. I can take it by itself without having to decide which cards I would need to exchange so I have the correct cards ID for any given situation.

DO NOT ORDER !!! Huge disappointment!! The one Star is for reimbursing just one of the two cc wallets. The quality is worth about $1. Super light weight unlike a sturdy aluminum alloy. It took about 2.5 weeks to deliver. If you drop it it breaks, if you open it a little too much, it breaks. The glue inside of the cc holders is visible and it comes apart. Stay away and do not order!!!

I bought this two years ago and never had a problem until last week. The hinge kept popping out and yesterday it finally broke beyond repair. Went to buy another one but it jumped from $22.99 to $66.00. As much as I want and need another one, I'm not paying that huge increase.

I have had a few in the past. This one seems harder to open up but maybe it’s because it’s still quite new. Sometimes it takes a couple attempts to get it open. Seems well made.

If I would have known that they would ship two of the same colour, I would have spent the extra money and picked the colours I wanted. Shipped two silver and was expecting what the website indicated, two colours, Miss leading

Bit bigger then standard wallets of this type, but worth it for the extra space. Haven’t dropped it yet so don’t know how sturdy it is but so far I really like it.
