These paddles are similar to many on the market and their performance is ok. The problem is one of the paddles on arrival had one outer layer that had a large section that was not bonded properly to the core. I've never returned anything to Amazon before and by the time I sat down to figure out how that is done I was one day too late. So I have used the other paddle and it now has sever small areas that are coming loose form the core. I did inquire with the owner about substituting the one unused paddle but didn't receive a favorable response. Again, paddles perform fine but I would not purchase again from this source for the obvious reasons stated.

Terrific paddles for the money! They are a little heavy (they may have been made with a heavier type of wood?) but they work and respond as well as my $50 paddles. The rubber creates and holds a spin very well. Cheap enough for my kids to use, but high quality for a moderate player as well. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Paddles looked pretty good when they arrived. However, on closer inspection, I noticed that the surface of the rubber on each paddle was uneven with various degrees of texture and smoothness showing across the entire surface. When playing, the paddles seem dead or not very lively - definitely doesn't suit my playing style. After just a few hours of play, the rubber on all four surfaces of the two paddles started coming loose around the perimeter. The adhesive was brittle and not holding. These paddles definitely are of very low quality. I regret my purchase.

Bought these for recreational use and wanted something a bit better than the cheapest paddles.Pros: Overall, performance is good for a paddle costing about $10 each.Cons: The wood edges were sharp on the fingers, so filed the edges a little with fine sandpaper. Inconsistent weight -- According to my kitchen scale, one paddle weighed 6.6 oz and the other 6.1 oz.FYI -- Rubber measured 150mm (width) by 155mm (length). Length may be a tad shorter than standard, but not sure.

Bought these to use as community-use paddles, and everyone loves them (about 30 of us). They take wear and tear pretty well. We have Stiga paddles around though some of the people in my group prefer these. They are super sticky and will stick to some things, especially themselves, so I just 'dusted' them a bit to make them less sticky. DO NOT LAY THEM ON EACH OTHER or you will have to use a lot of force to pull them apart. Otherwise, they feel awesome to hold and really well weighted/balanced with decent spin. Would buy again, excellent paddles for the price.

These bats are great to use. The wood portion is well constructed and very comfortable in the thand. The one knock on it is that the rubber is already starting to get lose at the very top of the bat. They aren't bubbling and peeling, but I can see that I'm going to have to do some maintenance on them at some point down the road.

I am not an expert on table tennis, but I am very happy with these paddles for the kids to play once in a while. They seem sturdy, have a nice feel for holding and nice weight. We've had fun with these and I think it was a good cost/benefit balance. I'm sure these are not for professionals, but for the cost I thought we got a good product.

Arrived brand new with an indent in one paddles. Additionally, already had spots on the edge of paddle with rubber peeling. (Still has plastic firm on paddle).As far as the paddle itself goes, I do like it. It is a little heavy for me, but I’m pretty sure the weight was listed. I was just unfamiliar with my preference. Next time I’ll find something a touch lighter.
