how much does the kuhkri by its self weigh?

As asked the question cannot be answered. It depends on the Kukri. I have several. One has an 8" blade, another has a blade over 23" exclusive of the hilt. Also there are usually two types of hilt, Panawal with a full width extension of the steel blade or Parawal with a narrower steel hilt extension encased in the wood. Fluting of the blade will alter the weight as well. The width and thickness of the blade is also a factor and they vary.
