Review: I have been using the SoftSheen-Carson Hi Rez #66 Ruby hair color for about a year now, and I'll keep buying it. I have gray hair (starting to come out) and I use this color as a touch up (a little goes a long way) and it cover my gray roots very well. It last a long time until the hair start growing again. Also, can't beat this price, I was getting it from Walgreens, which it cost more. Then decided to start buying from the company that make this product. But I founded it in desertcart and wanted to try it out from desertcart. Over all is a great hair color. I don't use the shampoo/conditioner that comes with it, I use my own shampoo/conditioner. Because my gray hair roots when I color it, it seems like I have done highlights but really is the color. My natural hair color is black, but I have been coloring my hair red for many years (20-25 yrs) and this color is like a dark red wine color on my hair, it doesn't break/ frizz/dry the hair either. It really cover the gray's hair roots, it does what it says it does and it work for me, I don't give to many reviews but this product deserve to be known because is really a very good product. I would recommend this hair color to those that like to color their hair red. I love it...... Review: All I can say is Wooooow! I have never really used a dye that have worked on naturally dark brown (practically black) hair without needed to bleach beforehand. I have shoulder length hair and one box was actually quite excessive for my hair. There's a lot of product in there. This dye works like a charm and the color is just as the simulation on the box. The color doesn't look very nice on me, so I just put Laroche directions (Lagoon blue) to cover it up and it gave me purple hair which suits me very well. This color is warm toned, so make sure you look good with warm toned colors-- I don't. I totally recommend this product.

I've always wanted a nice red tint to my hair, but because I have such thick dark hair. Normal box hair color at the stores do no work for me. I found this product when I was living in an urban area and can not find it where I live now. It works great. I would try some of the other colors if I wasn't so satisfied with the results from this one.
