I haven’t finished it yet but this book spits out strait facts. I wish our lawmakers would read this.

This compilation of the classics couldn’t be more timely. I love building my collection of WOF classics, and this is a great addition. Eye opening content in a beautiful, well crafted book.

This compilation isn't the best because it doesn't have the full encyclicals, except for two, Rerum Novarum and Dignitatis Humanae. All the rest of the encyclicals are excerpts, and some don't include crucial articles (e.g., the Quadragesimo Anno excerpt does not include the articles on subsidiarity...). In addition, the book does not include any information about the context of the encyclicals. For these reasons, Catholic Social Thought: Encyclicals and Documents from Pope Leo XIII to Pope Francis, published by Orbis, is much better for studying Catholic social teaching: https://a.co/d/dzvsW3CThe references to Scripture are helpful, though they're incomplete. The best part of the book is the writings from the Church Fathers. God bless!
