Color Blast Temporary Hair Makeup Wax - Washed Denim

I bought this to use as part of a costume for Dr. Seuss day at school—I needed to make my salt and pepper hair turquoise like Thing 1 and Thing 2. It was everything I hoped!I have short-ish curly hair, quite white in front and still dark brunette at the back. I’m not a hair and makeup person at all, so I need products that are easy to use! I tried a few strands ahead of time and the color was good and it came right out. So on the day, I slapped a generous amount into my hair and worked it in like any hair product. It has a nice scent, not too strong. Initially it feels a bit heavy and sticky, and stayed wet on my hair for quite a long time. I ended up borrowing a hair dryer and blasted it for a couple of minutes. At that point, it was dry, and did not come off. The drip I got on my shirt wiped right off with a towel.My resulting curls were shimmery and well colored, if a bit stiff and crunchy. The color stayed put all day, and didn’t even rub off on my pillow when I napped. The product came out easily with a single wash, leaving no trace of color even on my whitest hairs.I’ll be buying this in more colors! I think when I use it not as part of a costume, I may apply it selectively to my lightest greys and leave my darker bits their natural color. This should result in somewhat softer hair and a more subtle style. I can’t wait to play with this some more!

So I was actually pretty skeptical of this product initially but it does actually color dark Afro textured hair without having to use a ton of product! I got the denim color and recently used it and the color payoff is fantastic for how little product you need.With that being said I definitely still went overboard with it and it dries out like the worst hair gel you've ever used in your life. I colored my entire head with it and while the curl definition and color were great I think I would use less product and only color the ends of my hair next time. It does feel pretty drying considering how much product I used but I'm going to wash my hair again today anyway so the fact that it's not moisturizing isn't really an issue. My main complaint is the FALLOUT. Part of that is definitely on me for using so much - seriously y'all a little goes a LOOOOONG way - but when taking my twists down I ended up in a fine dusting of pale blue dandruff. So it is very messy! But also water soluble so it is also pretty easy to clean up with just some soapy water. I would definitely purchase this product in more colors!Bottom line: I would be really careful to not use too much product because it will make your hair c r i s p y. A deep condition before you use this product is also helpful! It is very messy but easy to clean up. The color payoff is absolutely gorgeous.I'll add pictures of me using the product after I feel I've used it to it's credit (the most effective and attractive way to use it rather than what I did this time 🥹)

This product is true to their color selections they have. The Sangria was the perfect match. It was easy to apply with gloves on. I wouldn't recommend to apply temporary color without gloves. I have locs it takes awhile for my hair to dry and with the temporary color on it . The temporary color can transfer to your clothing. If you happen to wear your hair down. Even when your wear a bonnet or hair wrap. I don't like the metallic look that it gives off when it applied to my edges. It doesn't give an natural look. Your hair will most definitely feel crunchy and your scalp will be itchy. It's best to apply a light oil to scalp before use of this product. This product is for all types of hair.

I ordered the dragonfruit color and it is gorgeous! It has a purple/pink hue. Luv it. Easy application and washes off gloves/hands easily. Now what I'm not a fan of is the chemical smell. It's not too strong, but strong enough to notice. When it dries, it definitely dries hard, my hair is very crunchy.

Love this hair wax! Kept her curls in individual coils and the color really shined thru even on her dark hair. Also easy to wash out. It did bleed onto some white shirts even a couple of days after it was applied but it washed out relatively easy.

Maybe this product does not color gray hair but I wish I'd known that before I purchased two colors. I put this on my hair twice and both times got no color at all. Very disappointed.

The color is amazing! My hair feels a little stiff, but then it is wax ;-)

I bought this because i needed to have a natural hair color for work (my hair was fire engine red). The color is really dark and would make my hair a brown color which was great and did exactly what it needed to do BUTTTT i noticed after it dries it leaves ur hair very dry and crunchy and AFTER you wash it out ur hair is still crunchy and rlly dry. Not too much damage but something i wanted to avoid. I ended up having to dye my hair because it would strip my hair color as well. So my hair went from red to pink to a really light pink/blonde after using this product for less than a month. I would only put it in fully once a week then would rinse it out friday night after work.

Only used it on my boyfriend as a joke. But for my hair it worked so well. Washed out so easily for both of us with no stains. My hair didn’t feel too dry but that may have been because I mixed it with my leave in conditioner.

I love these the fact that I could wash it out anytime. I love the vibrant colours. Thank you.

super pretty, easy to apply and washes off easily however, not entirely sure if it is transfer proof. it was quite annoying that every time i touched my hair my hands went red.

N'ayant pas trouvé de photos et vidéos sur mon type de cheveux (plutôt fins, plutôt ondulés que bouclés), je me demandais si ça partirait bien et ce que ça allait donner. J'ai un dégradé de blond, cela fait donc un dégradé de violet rose hyper joli. Cela reste bien et transfert peu, et s'enlève en 1 lavage (j'ai fait 3 shampooings quand même pour être sûre).Point faible : ça rigidifie énormément, certainement car plutôt destiné aux cheveux frisés à crépus. En scrunchant pour casser la rigidité, on enlève le côté nacré, ce qui est dommage. Mais sinon c'est top pour changer de tête, on dirait vraiment une coloration !!
