Decorative Wooden Treasure Chest Keepsake Box Large Memory Trunk, Wood Lock Box, Treasure Chest Box for Kids & Adults

Purchased as a gift for an older gentleman. This is a small, masculine, very nice looking, fashionable chest, perfect to use for watch and wallet at night, or keys, cuff links, or in our situation- candy. We plan to add some wrapped candy for a Christmas gift. Gave 4 stars on durability, only because we do not know yet, how well it will hold up, but certainly no apparent flaws. I really like it.

We had some items that needed a decorative box for storing in our home. This box ended up being perfect for what we needed. It's roomy on the inside and very pretty looking. It's obviously not the most amazing quality, but for the price it's perfect. Would recommend.

I am very very happy with my treasure box, for me, that's exactly what it holds. I have a fountain pen kit sent to me from England and sealing wax and sealing stamp, everything for an old fashioned letter and this holds everything perfect and there's room for me to add more stuff still. Even though the box is more Edwardian than Old English, it got the better reviews, and now I see why. It is so roomy, and it looks great by itself without anyone even knowing it's more than decoration. There is a lopsided hinge, but it doesn't affect how it opens, and one small nail head I can feel, however, overall, this was definitely the best treasure box for me. I like how the lid curves higher than the rim, as I tend to over buy on these projects so even if I get a little bit too much, there will still be room. I must say though as I sit here looking at the shelf. It looks very sophisticated sitting on the shelf.

This is truly a treasure chest. The authentic look and feel makes it a perfect item to be placed on any table top. Wood and Leather with a lined inside. Great item. I use mine as a storage for my remotes and other small items that one requires when captivated by the ‘Boob Tube’. Small bottle of antacids, lighter, rolling papers, Netflix and Apple TV remotes as well as the TV, Cable and Soundbar remotes all fit with room to spare. Purchased one for a friend, she keeps hers on her nightstand, I’m not even going to ask what she keeps in her Treasure Chest.

Very happy with the boxes, bought 3 of these for my great grand children so they could have a special place to put keepsakes in.

What a total piece of crap! The bottom is so think you could poke a finger through it. Not worth the time let alone the money, we returned it and got a refund. I can't explain how big a piece of s*** this thing is. We ended up going to Hobby Lobby to buy a better version. We found one that looked a lot like this but better. It is much better built it actually has a good hasp on it and it has leather straps that button down too. We wanted this for our grandson, we are giving him silver coins instead of junky toys for birthdays and other special days. We wanted him to have a cool place to keep them along with other things he might want to keep in a special place. The item from Hobby Lobby is wonderful, this POS here would have the bottom fall out with say 10 ounces of weight at the most in it. The best part the item from Hobby Lobby was about the same price, same your money this thing isn't worth a damn!

This chest looks fairly nice when closed, but is flimsier and less well-made than I'd hoped, and would not stay latched until I inserted something (I initially used a thin nail) through the loop where a lock might go. It will probably serve it's purpose, but I would have preferred something made of thicker wood rather than what appears to be thin plywood.

The leather handle on top was a little smashed during transit but it's totally a great product you can lock it if you choose. Great place to store your treasures.

Bought this box as a decorative item for storing small things. Sadly the quality is nothing like as good as the picture would lead you to believe. It's poor quality and very over priced.
