Easy & Economical Protection for Your Tree Investments
This branch crutch really works and is easy to utilize. Planted a magnolia 25+ years ago and allowed to grow with minimal pruning and shaping. Now more than 25 feet tall w/lower branch spread of at least 25--30'. Fully foliated in Spring along w/large flowers adds much weight to branches. Have placed two of the crutches to support large lower limbs. Attach to a 2 X 2, cut to length and secure. Stained & varnished to help blending. Took a couple of hours over two days to complete.

These do the job
Bought these to use with wooden stakes to hold up branches on my apple trees when the fruit weighs them down. They fit great on both wooden stakes and metal rods.

I needed a support for my Purple Leaf Sand Cherry tree that wouldn't hurt the bark. The Kalinar Tree Crutch is just the thing I needed. The size was perfect, the Crutch is very sturdy, and it was a great value for the money. I would recommend the support to anyone who loves thier trees!!

Does the job!
The lack of comparable product for the UK astounds me. However, I needed this 'crutch' for a valued old tree and it works well - but I have given this 4 out of 5 stars because I thought it rather pricey for this piece of plastic - albeit does what it says on 'the tin'.

Sturdy product
2 in a pack - which was useful as I need to prop up a branch with poles from left and right.I bought 42mm rounded wooden poles and some bolt-down brackets (both TPerkins) for the poles to sit in and be bolted into concrete wall below. This will hopefully stop the poles moving.The crutch is suited to square poles. However the round poles fit. Just.It seems that the Kalinar crutches are perfectly strong enough to support the weight of a very heavy branch
